“Nice experience - but tiny cocktails”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013

The PamPam has two specialities: huge ice-creams and rum-based cocktails. I wanted to try the cocktail so I picked one in the menu. They are all around 10€, which is fine given the location.
While the cocktails are rather good, the disappointment comes from the quantity. Yes, the PamPam staff knows how to "decorate" a glass, but eventually what you get is a small glass. It's even worse with cocktails served in a shell. Those are really really tiny.

On the positive side, drinks come with some snacks (doritos, curry popcorn, accras).

Sometimes music and dancers bring a bit of entertainment. At least I have seen this in previous years, not this time - maybe I was not there at the right time this year, maybe it's cancelled I don't know.
Bottom line: it's a nice place for a drink, I am not sure it's fully worth the hype, though.

“A little bit overrated”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013

I had a cocktail here while on holidays, and was a little bit dissapointed.

The cocktail (Bora Bora) was good and had a nice amount of alcohol, but it was really really tiny. For 10,90 Eur I had expected something at least normal size.
It came with a lot of snacks, so somehow the price could be rationalized. But I still prefer to get the quality for money of what I order and not on the extras.

I heard sometimes there is animation (live music and dancers), and maybe then it's worth a visit. For normal time, it is just a nicely decorated bar with over expensive drinks.

“Best Bar in Juan-les-Pins”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 19, 2013

A must while in Juan-les-Pins. Really good atmosphere, great original cocktails including the poupou!! My cocktail hadn't been mixed right and they changed it straight away. Not the cheapest drinks ever but so worth a visit.

“Good Fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2013

After visiting Juan-Les-Pins, on and off, for 21 years I finally got around to having a few drinks in this bar.

Several cocktails and a couple of hours later I had resolved not to let another 21 years pass before another visit.......

Frozen margarita & pina colada were fully tested (€10.20 a drink) and were considered delicious.

Interesting to see such a vary varied clientele, all ages, locals, tourists all having a pretty good time.

Go there, it's great.

“Bring me back to Brazil!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013

Great bar in Juan les Pins. Definitely worth a visit. The Brazilian decor is great. It even smells like a rainforest. The staff were friendly and all wore very colourful shirts. It really is totally different to the usual bar experience. The music is also quite original with unique remixes. I would recommend getting there before 9pm to avail of Happy Hour prices. Also to avail of the numerous snacks (popcorn, crisps and nuts) provided free of charge with your drink. Unique and creative bar. Pity they didn't have their usual Brazilian entertainment in April. Would definitely return.
