We had a lovely lunch at da Mario. 3 courses for 18 Euro and children's menu for our son was 9 Euro I think. We particularly liked the tapas starters. Such good value for decent cooking. Very helpful service. Recommended, especially to avoid over priced tourist restaurants in Juan les pins.

Da Mario has delicious Italian food at very reasonable prices. We were looking for a casual place that the whole family could enjoy and this fit the bill. We enjoyed the fresh pasta and the delicious tapas. We started with a caprese salad and grilled peppers. Both were just delicious with very fresh basil and delicious olive oil. We went on to lasagna with freshly made noodles and fusilli with fresh cheese.

The service was a bit slow but it is August and we imagine some of the staff was off.

The location is right across from the plage on the front street. It is a bit busy with traffic but also great for people watching at sunset.

We've just returned from Juan-les-Pins and couldn't wait to tell everyone about this fab little Spanish/Italian restaurant that has recently opened on the front. Don't be put off by the fact it serves two different cuisines, as it does so to perfection. The owner is half Italian and half Spanish so he certainly has the credentials and expertise to serve food of a high standard. Our first night in town we didn't want to travel far and opted for the simplicity of tapas at Da Mario. We were not disappointed - the dishes were delicious, authentic, beautifully presented and reasonably priced and the carafe of house red complimented them well. The service was excellent and both the waitress and owner were extremely friendly without being intrusive. Our last night was a similar story - after exploring the Cote D'Azur we wanted to stay close to home. Da Mario was the obvious choice but this time we went for 3 course menu and chose Italian main courses. My dish, the tagliatelle with chicken parmigiana was delicious and my husband said his penne arrabiata was one of the best he'd had. The homemade desserts were fab and the cassis sorbet was to die for. This place deserves to be packed every night. But don't just take our word for it, try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

We visited this recently opened restaurant in May 2012. It is located on the seafront in Juan les Pins just down from the tourist office.

The service and welcome were exceptionally good without being intrusive. The food was great and this is definitely one of the best priced establishments in the area. Try the grandmother's recipe lasagne, it's excellent.

They value your custom!

Not much to do in Juan Les pins when its raining so we decided to go for tapas at this new spaghetti and tapas restaurant on the beach road of Juan Les pins. We were really pleased, as the food was really tasty and the owner with who we had a little tchat is a very freindly half Spanish Half Italian guy. The wines were great and the tapas as well. Only negative point was that they didnt have a baby high chair for our son but really few restaurants have them overthere. This restaurant has definitely a much more better value for money than the expensive restaurants on the beach! So we will definitely return next holidays! With sunshine on the terrace this time we hope!
