“If Carlsberg made pizza ads”
Reviewed June 9, 2012

If Carlsberg made pizza ads, it would look like Biorell. The cafe is modern and a welcome change in Juan les Pins, organic ingredients and tasty pizza combinations. We ate there as a family, our drinks were served immediately and the 2 workers were friendly young guys. The pizzas were really tasty. I would recommend this restaurant (especially over some of the other restaurants that may have a view on the seafront in Juan les Pins but are overpriced and average service).

“Tasty, well priced and stylish pizza place”
Reviewed April 25, 2012

Biorell is located in central Juan Le Pins at 12 Bis Avenue de l'Esterel and specialises in pizza made with entirely organic ingredients.
The restaurants of Juan le Pins comprise of expensive eateries along the seafront, some good, some bad but mostly overpriced considering the quality.
Finding a good place to eat was tricky, however we stumbled upon Biorell a few blocks back from the seafront, a small shop front opens into a long narrow restaurant, well furnished and decorated in a modern and sleek style.
Blackboards on the wall inside detail the styles of pizza on offer, their names and respective ingredients. The waiter/chef greeted us within a minute of sitting down and gave us menu's and we ordered drinks, the drinks arrived a minute later and we ordered our pizzas. Service was swift, warm and friendly and the staff very professional.
A minute later the waiter brought out a small toasted bread basket and ramekins of Provençal tapenade, this was on the house and most welcome. The tapenade was well made and the ingredients were balanced correctly, a teaspoonful of tapenade atop of the crusty bread made the perfect appetiser for the pizza to come. We ordered the classic pizza's Capricciosa and Roma. The Capricciosa wasn't on the menu however the waiter said he could make it, no problem.
When the pizza's arrived a thin crust pizza almost 30cm in diameter was placed before me. The pizza was generously covered in rich and good quality ingredients with plenty of cheese. With the addition of some chilli sprinkles my pizza was absolutely delicious.
Each pizza cost between 8-11 Euro's and was worth every penny. Our total bill with drinks was under 30 Euros. If we'd elected to eat at restaurant on the seafront our meal would have been well over 50 Euros and probably not as good quality or as healthy with organic ingredients. I would definitely eat at Biorell again.
