Tucked away on the south side of the church just off the main square, this small restaurant was very welcoming (we had no reservation) and the service was prompt and helpful throughout our visit.
The restaurant comprises two rooms, the outer room has four, well-separated tables for two, the inner room has no windows, is more like a cave and includes seating for larger parties as well as couples. If you go as a couple, I recommend the outer room, closer to the street (and natural light). Decor is modern.
We took the three course 27 Euro lunch, fairly pricey but the quality and presentation of the food was very good. An amuse bouche of fresh cold tomato soup to begin with, with a cold strawberry soup dessert the main highlight. Of two fish main courses, one was prepared precisely, the second ( a different variety of fish) slightly overcooked.
I notice some earlier reviews of this restaurant were quite negative. as of June 2013, I found nothing to support these criticisms.
