My family and I visited the Siblu site for a week in June 2012. It was our first experience of Siblu, so we were not entirely sure what to expect. But we had an absolutely fantastic holiday. My 2 year old daughter loved it, as did my partner and I, and my 63 year old mum. The caravan was comfortable and well equipped. The bedrooms are small, but we didn't spend much time in them. The air con was a blessing as it was very hot whilst we were there, and we ate dinner on the terrace everynight. We didn't use many of the facilities at the park so I can't really comment on them. But we did get a takeaway from the restaurant one evening which was very nice, and not too pricey. We also had a drink at the bar one evening as we explored the facilities. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly.
We went out everyday and found plenty to do in the area. We had a day trip to Monaco, a trip to the perfume museum in Grasse, went to the Marinepark (pricey but absolutely brilliant), visited Cannes and went to several beautiful beaches. The beach at Frejus is fantastic, and a short stroll to the harbour was perfect to find lunch and ice cream. One word of warning, wear beach shoes on the beaches!! After checking out of the caravan site on our final day we decided to spend the morning at the beach before heading to the airport and I trod on a Weever fish. Absolute agony. From the response of the fantastic lifeguards on the beach, this is a fairly common occurance so do be careful, especially if you have little ones sitting on the sand in the waves.
One other piece of advice - take plenty of insect repellant and stock up on fly spray. Our caravan was full of flies! (Not due to a lack of cleanliness I hasten to add! I guess flies are difficult to avoid in that sort of heat..)
All in all though a fantastic holiday. The whole family loved it. I have recommended it to several friends, and we hope to return again in the future.
