Owner description: Visits to this historic factory thread their way through the perfumer’s laboratory, with its perfume organ, the distillery, the maceration and filtering studios, the enfleurage rooms, and the artisanal packaging and soapmaking workshops. The museum's collection features bottles and perfume memorabilia from ancient times and all the way up to the present day. Clay perfume flasks, khol vases, scent holders, salve jars, pomanders, bergamotes, and travel kits trace 3,000 years of history.

“Friendly, free and fun”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

They offer free guided tours through the factory and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They take time to answer all your questions. There is also a small Museum, free of charge and of course a huge store where you can buy all the Fragonard products.

“Lovely fragrances”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

A must if you love perfume, both for men and woman. Our friendly hostess, Kristina, gave us a very good insight in the process of manufacturing as well as the various products required to produce perfume. After the tour you have the opportunity smell all the lovely fragrances and canbuy perfume and other products at factory prices. You are no obligation to buy anything. Received great service from Kristina. Very professional and friendly.

Reviewed August 6, 2013

At Eze , France which is an hour drive from Monaco, there is wonderful perfume and soap factory. Visitors are welcome to take a walk though escorted by a guided tour .The hostess in our case explained the method and history of perfume manufacture. There are several aromatic fragnanaces from which one can choose to buy. The expereince in the factory is of unique fragnance obtained from herbs, flowers from various parts of the world.

“Love the way you smell!!!”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

I had no intention of making this journey to Grasse but friends that we were with wanted ot go so we went along. WOW!!! You simply have to go - it is quaint, picturesque and the home of fragrances. Fragonard was our perfumerie of choice and I did purchase some things from Gallimard but Fragonard was more to my taste! Spend time there.... go to the museum it is worth it. Once that is out of the way.... emerse yourself in all that smells wonderful! I am not a person that wears many perfumes in fact I usually only wear one that I like. I now have 5 from Fragonard. They are helpful, speak several languages and cannot do enough to help you find the smells you love. I bought candles and other divine smelling things from there. If you simply just go to look, it is worth the trip. Grasse itself is wonderful - you will find exquisite shops in this tiny town and every one of them is worth a visit. I love Grasse and Fragonard!
