We had lunch here on a brilliantly sunny day in November. It was warm enough to sit on the terrace. The view was breathtaking! Seriously breathtaking. And the food was very good. The prix fix menu was 65€ for three courses - an entree of foie gras with fresh figs, a fig chutney and delicious cranberry/pistachio toasts, a main - three scallops with a foam jus, six pieces of what we think were some kind of a root veg and a few small puddles of whipped potatoes - again, all very tasty but very, very small. I'd say the main was an appetizer size. Dessert was a very delicious chocolate concoction made up of a crispy bottom layer with chocolate mousse covered in a dark chocolate ganache on top of which were placed small square sheets of more dark chocolate. We had a half bottle of wine and espresso. The coffees were 7€ each. Total bill came to 179€.
We've eaten at Michelin stared restaurants and restaurants with a simple blackboard menu out front. This wasn't our most memorable meal by any means but it was certainly one of our most memorable meals in terms of the overall experience. Worth the price.

We originally were booked at the 2 Michelin star restaurant but decided to ratchet it back a bit, and go to Eden for a more relaxed and lower key dining experience. I shouldnt have bothered. The view was wonderful, but that was the only wonderful thing about it. The 3 courses plus 2 glasses of Champagne each came to over 320 euros, and the food was nothing special at all.

It was nice bistro food and that's it. The service was cold and clinical, and bar taking our order, barely a word was spokent to us the whole night.

We paid the same to eat in the michelin stard restaurant in chateu eza the night before which was a wonderful friendly experience with delightful food, which made the whole experience at Eden feel like a rip off and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I felt stung to be honest, and I can afford to eat in good places, and have no problem parting with good money for great dining.

Unfortunately Eden at chèvre dor, isn't it

After reading some of the other reviews I was prepared for a mediocre meal. It was raining very hard so we decided to dine where we were staying.

Much to my surprise the food was good but very expensive and the service was excellent. We were seated immediately but after a minute or two the maitre 'd asked us if we wanted to move to a window table so we could enjoy the view.

We started our meal off with a glass of champagne and some complimentary canapes. The waiter was excellent and offered some good suggestions.

By way of comparison, a few days earlier we dined at the Jules Verne at the Eifel Tower and spent 200 Euros more for a meal that was not as good.

I had rack of lamb that was outstanding and my wife had chicken that she said was excellent. Espresso and dessert finished off a wonderful meal.

Everything you would expect from French fine dining in a small, elegantly furnished dining room with a wall of glass overlooking the Mediterranean. What else would you need?

We dined here for our 25th anniversary and the staff could not have made it more memorable. From the drinks before dinner on the terrace to our table by the window overlooking the sea. It was heaven. The food is incredible and it is no wonder the chef has earned 2 Michelin stars. The exquisite attention to detail and presentation of the food is excellent. It is a culinary dining experience and is something that you must experience at least once in a lifetime. We can not wait to go back.
