“Parking offers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

The car park at Eze is usually full by 10.00am. However, the local Commune has set up an alternative car park further up the road - follow signs. This is a very long and bendy road but there is a good car park - 5 euros - at the top. A free shuttle bus runs every 10 minutes and collects from outside Gallimard. Included in the parking is 1 person's admission to the Gardens (usually 6 euros) and quite a number of discount offer on shops, restaurants etc. It's also worth it for the spectacular views.

The Gardens are very good and we have visited them many times. Do not take the train as the walk up from Eze Bord de Mer is very exhausting and the buses not always available.

“Gardening at exteme heights!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

Eze is a typical walled mountain village in the South of France which attracts significant tourist numbers. It has a unique feature which is this hill top succulent garden - 6 euro each to access. Well worth the fee not only to see the plants and understand how the soil and plants got there, but also the magnificent views over the South coast including Cap Ferrat and the moorings of the luxury liners which stop over. There are plaques explaining the views you can see and the significance of buildings within the town and beyond. Well worth a visit but lots of steps and uphill walking so be prepared

“Gorgeous Panoramic View”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

Given just one day from our cruise port at Monte Carlo to visit for the first time, the nine of us plus two elderly and a toddler (on daddy's backpack carrier most of the time) were happy to have seen the places we did, including this Garden. After getting valuable tips from Trip Advisor we decided to hop on Bus #112 at the Cremaillere stop (walking distance from the Casino Square) at 2 Euros per person one way, to Eze Village. After lunch seven of us hiked uphill while the rest waited comfortably at the bottom. We got a big family discount on admission to stroll in the peaceful garden while relishing the stunning view of the Mediterranean. It wasn't so much the various Cacti in the Garden but the setting of the entire Garden offering such vistas. The frequency of Bus #112 to and from Eze Village was left to be desired.

“What a stunning place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

This place was the highlight of our holiday, just stunning. The old town of Eze is beautiful and the Gardens at the top with the Cactus are amazing. The views across the whole coast to Cap De ferrat and beyond are so worth the trek up to the top. Dont miss this gem of a place.

“Top 10 prettiest views in the world”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

These gardens are absolutely breathtaking (well the gardens are lots of cactuses and some pretty statues but the setting is amazing!) definitely worth the 6euro entrance fee
