“Fabulous Meal 06/04”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2014

A beautiful spring day in Eze Village. 25 degrees, so a lovely warm day! Stopped here as it looked pretty & was next to the gardens, the next stop on our visit. What a great choice as the food was very reasonable particularly compared to other restaurants in the village where you pay for the view. There is no view except for the prettiness of the place itself, but it's yards from the gardens, so you you're not missing out. Stunning food....the goats cheese & artichoke salad [€12.50] with glass of wine. First time of eating al fresco this year, it couldn't have been better. Excellent food, lovely staff, glorious weather and a top day out. What more could you want? Not sure how many it seats outside, maybe 30. Loads of tables inside if you're ever there on a rainy day. Hope to visit this restaurant again.

“Charming restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2014

We arrived at Eze village, by taking the bus from Beaulieu-sur-Mer. Enjoyed wandering among the medieval streets, and craft shops. Had a nice lunch at this restaurant, we ate outside under the shade of some trees, but go inside and look out the windows for a great view over Cap ferret.

“Amazing views!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2014

We stopped at this little restaurant on a December afternoon on our way to the top of Eze and then Montecarlo. We had a great omelette with a glass of wine with the best scenic view ever! The waitress, Roberta (if I remember the name well) was very kind and made us sit at the best table with the best views. The restaurant was empty as it was December but I believe it will be packed in summer. Very nice romantic spot!

“Eat at the Deli!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 28, 2013

The actual restaurant Le Nid d'Aigle was closed, but the deli was open, and I highly recommend it for a light lunch or a drink. The seating is outside -- the day I visited in late November was sunny and chilly, but the young man who served me couldn't have been nicer. He was very concerned that I not be too cold and provided a shaw and then moved me so I could be in the sun. It was very nicely done, with comfy cushions in all shades of lavender to sit on. I was provided a little sample of delicious tiny nicoise olives and a vegetable soup, both served with a local olive oil. For the main course, I had a warm goat cheese salad. The mulled wine smelled so delicious I had to have it! OK, so it is all pretty straightforward and simple, but I highly enjoyed it.

“Nice place, average food, good service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2013 via mobile

A lovely little place on the top of eze village, serving the usual French food. We sat outside for lunch, which was nice and cool, with the feel of being in a garden. Food- average- Niçoise salad and escargot was good. The steak (l'entrecote) was too tough and dry. The basil pesto pasta was average, nothing to rave about. We were served by a very friendly and bubbly waitress whom we later found out was originally from Italy. It was a nice change from some of the colder service staff we had encountered through our week in France. Overall- a nice little place for some appetisers and drinks once u get to the top of eze village! (Be sure to visit the cactus garden beside it!)
