Description: Bienvenue ... La Bergerie is located on the great driving route Route de la Grande Corniche ... a spectacular film location in To Catch a Thief with Cary Grant and Grace Kelly. Watch a Youtube trailer on our website to see what you're missing...We welcome you to the warm and friendly ambience of our rustic style restaurant as you enjoy hearty cuisine and traditional flavours of Provence and the Mediterranean. Throughout the year you can enjoy open-fire-roasted cooking in two rooms of "The Shepherd's House" which features exposed beams, original farm objet d'art and, of course, the two large inglenook fireplaces where your chef roasts and grills lamb, beef and fish. You can warm yourself by the fire and enjoy this normally outdoor barbecue cuisine all year round. Our cuisine consists of grilled meat cooked over a wood fire. We offer grilled fish and dishes such as fillet of sea bream and salmon grilled at the wood fire.Check us out at our website and visit us on Facebook. We encourage reviews on TripAdvisor but also ask you to tell us yourselves in person so that your feedback benefits you. You are our most important customers... the ones we are serving right now. We have French and English speakers who want to engage with you wherever you are from and whatever your language.... Bienvenue... Bienvenuto... Willkomen... We take group bookings and will aim to make your big event memorable and come up with a menu to suit your budget. As a guideline. our 38€ Grillade/Barbecue Menu includes Roast Ramb, Slow-cooked Lamb Shank and Char-grilled Duck Breast served with oven roasted vegetables and creamy potatoes/mashed potato. It also has the 44€ option including unlimited drinks... carafes of red, rose and white wine, beer blonde and soft drinks. Our Menu du Berger menu for 29€ featuring Delicious slow-cooked Duck, Beef Casserole or Salmon with Parmesan Risotto (35€ including drinks) is also great value. If there are any restaurants on the Cote d'Azur with such a generous drinks offer, please let us know. Or you can choose from our wine list. Call us, email us or message us on Facebook. There's plenty to see while you're here at about 500 metres/yards above sea level.. Eze Village, Galimard and Fragonard Perfumeries and the great walk around the old Napoleonic Fort Revere with its amazing dry moat, so bring your walking boots. We look forward to welcoming you soon at La Bergerie.

After travelling from Austrialia to France, I was surprised to meet Geoff who originally comes from Perth in Australia. I went to this restaurant with a group of 51 people on a Trafalgar bus tour on 4/9 and we all had a fabulous time. Drinks on the deck was a nice way to start the evening followed by a delicous meal with excellent service by the waiters and Geoff. The waiters spoke English and the meals were service quickly to this large group. The ambience was fantastic with many commenting is was one of the best meals they had on the tour.
Can highly recommend this wonder place with the gorgeous views, fabulous meals and great service.
Great place to take us, thank Richard (tour director)

Very seldom I find a restaurant where the owners are so commited that everyone has a great experience while dining in La Bergerie!

Geoff & Chris can't do more to make you feel welcome!

The views are stunning and enjoying a lie with some provençal amuses-bouches is perfect compliment to this spectacular view!

Food:
Start with: onion tart or lobster & prawn bisque.

Follow with home-cooked confit de Canard or roasted salmon

Tarte tatin anyone... Just lovely!

We had the pleasure of dining for dinner here as an optional part of a tour and it was easily the best meal we had. The goat cheese and onion tart was amazing and the salmon melted in your mouth. The service was friendly and welcoming and the views could not be matched. They have an outdoor terrace when the weather permits. The entire experience was relaxed and special. Not a typical "tourist" restaurant stop.

We traveled along the pictureque route high into the hills between Nice and Monaco to the village of Eze to La Bergerie.
Our group enjoyed wine on the terrace before dinner , so picturesque, as we looked down on the more well known hilltop hotel/restaurant . But here we had personalized service and a great 3 course meal, after delicious tapenade, w wine flowing and homemade grappa for all.
Make sure you return to the terrace after dinner to retake photos of the now breathtaking night lights below. I only wish we could have had an extra hour to sip an aperitif with that terrace view.

This evening was a lovely experience . There were 10 of us and we decended on the restaurant with curiosity. We were welcomed by staff and guided outside for an apperitiff. (there were three options) The view and nibbles were wonderful .A staff meember mixed with our group giving us insight into the history of the place and pointing out places of interest in our stunning vista.
We then sat down to our three coarse meal . All the food was presented well and tasted lovely.Staff were attentive but not intrusive. They took photos for us and explained the taste etc of the grappa.
Finally we were walked to the transport and thanked again for our patronage. We felt special and totallly satisfied . Lovely night
