Les Roses Blanches is a gorgeous villa that is in walking distance (or regular bus route) to the centre of Cannes.
The owner (Karen) has pretty much thought of everything that you might need, including towels, washing powder, condiments such as salt, pepper, oil etc and was happy to help with any other needs or give advice on local restaurants
There are ample seating areas, shade, sun loungers, bbq, ice machine, there is even a large fridge in the poolside lounge, we found was perfect for cooling down drinks
The pool was regularly cleaned and was the perfect temperature for the July heat.
Each room was different, making us all jealous of each others rooms :-) and the air con (with quiet sleep mode) was a blessing for those who struggle to sleep in heat.
I wholeheartedly recommend this villa, and cant wait to return.
I was absolutely blown away by this property!
A beautifully restored villa tucked away in a little street only a few minutes walk away from Cannes! Absolutely magical.
You couldn't have nicer hosts, on hand if you need and willing to go the extra mile for their guests to have a wonderful stay.
Roses Blanches is one of the most beautiful, spacious and comfortable houses I have ever stayed in. It’s a bright sunny villa that epitomises all I imagined a luxurious 19th century house in Cannes would be. The décor is exquisite - classy and unpretentious. Bright and airy reception rooms, TV and music room, a large dining area and stunning lounge, (with real fires), that leads through a grand French window onto a sun terrace. This overlooks a gorgeous well established garden with grand palm trees and a swimming pool. Beyond this the roof tops of Cannes and the Mediterranean Sea – it’s magical.
All the other amenities are top notch too – luxurious bathrooms and well equipped kitchens, garden room and seven lovely bedrooms. The house is fully air conditioned and kept spotless, and the staff are super-efficient, friendly and unobtrusive.
Understated luxury and comfort on tap. Roses Blanches is one of a few villas of its type still left in Cannes, a fantastic haven with the rest of the town literally on the doorstep. The perfect place to escape to and relax or to party and entertain –with all the wonderful cafes, restaurants, shops, beach and waterfront of Cannes nearby. Our stay there was enchanting and thoroughly enjoyable, pure therapy for us all – I can’t recommend it highly enough and I have every intention of returning.
The Villa: the building is one of exceptional historical architecture, in keeping with the local area; and the interior was superbly furnished. The shore and the centre of Cannes was around 15 minutes walk away. There is a local boulangerie 2 minutes walk from the villa.
David and Karon: fantastic hosts. They were staying in a house very close to the villa and were able to assist with any questions about the villa or what to do in Cannes.
We were lucky enough to spend the whole of September in this beautiful villa.
Family and friends came and went during the month and no one could fault any of it. The bedrooms are beautiful with fantastic views of the sea from the upstairs ones and easy access to the pool from the downstairs.
The whole house is extremely well equipped with a kitchen that made cooking for large numbers less of a chore.
The layout of the villa, and the indoor and outdoor space, meant that even when (for one weekend) there were thirteen of us staying plus the dog, everyone was able to find their own space and if they wanted it, peace and quiet.
The location is excellent in a quiet residential area. Just a 10 minute walk down to the town and its beaches. The fitter amongst us walked back up the hill too but no one had to, the buses were frequent and cheap, stopping a couple of hundred yards from the villa, outside a very tempting boulangerie/patisserie and other local shops.
The owners Karon and David couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.

Stayed in Karons fantastic villa 3 times it's a beautiful villa with all the amenities you could wish for, it's stunning inside and out. Exceptionally clean and beautiful decorated. Great sized pool, plenty of comfy garden furniture
Nearby shops for all your food essentials and a handy bus that takes just a few mins to Cannes
Well located for Cannes centre with lots of lovely restaurants
I can highly recommend this stunning villa
We have stayed here twice now and will be returning again next year!
The house itself is absolutely beautiful, it's finished to a very high standard - higher than normal for a rented property. Each room is unique and the whole house has a luxurious feel about it.
The gardens are stunning and the pool warm and clean. Perfect for lounging around and the pool alarm gives piece of mind when staying with small children.
We have 2 year old twins and an older child and found the ground floor useful. It has its own kitchen, washer/dryer, bathroom, 3 bedrooms and can be accessed via the pool room and also the main house. The rest of our party stayed on the 3rd floor. The second floor has 2 living rooms, one with a TV which has Netflix - perfect for children to escape the sun for an hour, along with another kitchen, toilet and two patio areas with tables and chairs. There are also two bbq's!
Karon and David are amazing hosts and go well out of their way to make their guests holidays relaxing and enjoyable. It's obvious how much pride they have in this beautiful house, I honestly couldn't fault anything.
If I could give this property 10* I most definitely would!
