We were in Antibes and we spotted the decadent looking window of Jean Luc Pele Patisserie and we could not resist entering even though we had just eaten macarons previously. The wall of cascading chocolate beckoned us to enter. That's when I spotted a golden macaron. Of course I had to order it. It was champagne flavored and delicious. On our way out we noticed the various foie gras flavored macarons. We chose the foie gras and onion macaron which was a lovely shade of pink and were very satisfied with our choice.

Definitely worth the stop.

Everything looked so good, we tried a few items with our coffee. Do not miss the mille-feuille, best ever in the world for me!

This patisserie isn't exactly cheap, but you can't look at the shop window without being tempted! Chocolate bars, chocolate sculptures (masks, shoes...), cakes and amazing macarons! Try this place and you won't regret it!

To me it was just OK, definitly hyped up. The macaroons were OK, the pastries were avant garde in a design and flavor sense but tasted just OK. What really blew me away was the service, precise, clean, efficiently friendly, employees wearing uniforms and using serving tongs for everything and of course the amazing packaging. Be prepared to spend money. All this does not come cheap and when it's time to pay you put your money in a machine so no one touches it. A bit surprising but conceptually very modern and sanitized.
