We read about this place here on tripadvisor, and decided to try it out. We, meaning two families with kids from norway on vacation. And we can only say that it was a great experience. Very friendly people working here. And the food is, as mentioned in other reviews, exceptionally good. The burgers are made from the finest meat and tastes great! One guest of our party also tried onof the woks, and it also tasted very good.
Coubys is higly recommended by all 9 of us!
Bon apetit!

We visited this place because it was very close to where we were staying and also because of the reviews on trip advisor. We were not disappointed! The burgers were the most succulent and flavoursome burgers we had had. The chips were gorgeous and the sauce to accompany the meat were extremely tasty. It was so good we will definitely return and would recommend anyone visiting cannes who want a restaurant off the beaten track to go here at least once!

Saw this reviewed on Tripadvisor and said we would go on first night of arrival over Easter weekend as we were late into Nice Airport and thought we'd grab a late bite. Turned out we were very late. Couby was great and got us some food even thought he kitchen was closed. We were mainly in the upstairs bar that night and we went back again. The Jazz and R&B sessions were fantastic with some local talent also joining in "onstage". Cant really call it a stage as it is such an intimate venue. The bar is not very expensive (compared to the touristy places) and there is a mixed bunch in their 20's and 30's - couldn't recommend it highly enough. Check his website for the music nights

Visited on the strength of the TA reviews an wasn't disappointed. Burger the first night, steak 2 nights later. Smallish & family run, the uber friendly staff remembered us & even offered us the same table. My wife doesn't do sweets so they put together a cheese selection for her. Wine is slightly over priced but overall, well worth seeking out.

Great service, very friendly, and a menu that offers something for everyone. They don't just have burgers but that's what they specialize in. They have a variety of pastas, salads, and even tartars! I had the Texan burger. OMG! BBQ sauce, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, grilled onions and even a fried egg on top. I'm gluten free so I had it without the bun and it was still so so so good. Plus the fries are really good. Crispy and light and fluffy inside. Overall and very cool and causal place when you want a break from the pricy French bistros.
