This was our first night in Cannes and the owner of our hotel recommended this restaurant which was close by. For starters I had a delicious fish soup, full of many seafood flavours and served with lovely croutons and saffron mayonnaise. The others had salad which was beautifully served and full of leaves and other salad veg with a lovely sesame seed dressing. My main course was magret du canard. Perfectly cooked duck with a lovely sauce and accompanying vegetables. My mother had sea bass which was obviously fresh and she said was the best she had eaten. My wife had pave du saumon which again was very good. All too full for a dessert but had a coffee with limoncello on the house! A perfect start to our stay in Cannes.

Thank John H

This is our Number 1 restaurant in Cannes, 2nd to none!! Family owned, Mother (owner) front of house, Son (owner) Chef. This is a small cosy place to be, summer or winter.
Quiet street but close to Palais De Festival and beaches.
Good menu`s or A La Carte, not expensive.
See you soon Au Martin Pecheur.
Can`t wait.

We were hoping to find a more hearty, rustic meal than we'd had at other restaurants in Cannes, and this place was perfect. Unpretentious, friendly place with great value, delicious dishes on offer. We had excellent fish soup to start, duck breast with green peppercorn sauce and creamy mashed potato, then crème brulee to finish - set menu at 24€. The quality of the food and the portion size make this place much better value than some other more pricey restaurants in Cannes. The owner was lovely, service quick and with a smile. We'll definitely visit again on our next trip to Cannes. Highly recommend!

Tonight is the second night in a row we ended up having dinner in this very nice restaurant. Nicely situated close to Palais de Congres on a pedestrian side street, i.e. without any traffic rushing close by. Small place with just 5-10 tables outside. Family owned, which made you feel welcome. Yesterday we had excellent prepared fresh sea bass and today we had sirloin with Provençal herbs. Both meals were equally good with nice side orders included. This is easily one of the very best restaurants we have eaten at in Cannes so far and we are now spending our fourth vacation here! Highly recommended especially considering the very modest prices compared to the quality of the food.

After wondering around Cannes today we stumbled across this gorgeous little restaurant where the lamb on the menu board drew us in. With three small kids and our minimal French we were still welcomed and treated beautifully. We order a steak & frites (fries) for the kids which was delivered before our gourmet meals so we could share out & prepare the kids first (we think our waitress must be a mum!!) We really enjoyed our meals & coffee and thoroughly recommend!
