This was our first night in Cannes and the owner of our hotel recommended this restaurant which was close by. For starters I had a delicious fish soup, full of many seafood flavours and served with lovely croutons and saffron mayonnaise. The others had salad which was beautifully served and full of leaves and other salad veg with a lovely sesame seed dressing. My main course was magret du canard. Perfectly cooked duck with a lovely sauce and accompanying vegetables. My mother had sea bass which was obviously fresh and she said was the best she had eaten. My wife had pave du saumon which again was very good. All too full for a dessert but had a coffee with limoncello on the house! A perfect start to our stay in Cannes.
