“Great location and cost effective”

Excellent service by all the staff. All times of the day. Suited our requirements. If you do stay there ask to not be placed by the roof top Garden as we were eaten alive by the Mosquito. Apart from that we would recommend to all looking for a convenient place to stay. Cannes has great restaurants and the French service and courtesy puts some of our English towns to shame. Well done Cannes.

Eden is a really nice hotel in a good location. The price is fairly reasonable and the superior room was as described.

The main positives are:
1) The staff cannot do enough to help you, they'll even look after your bags after check out so you can go to the beach!
2) The facilities are all clean and well maintained
3) The hotel is minutes to the beach and a short walk into to town

The hotel is slightly let down by the following:
1) The sea view the promised is almost non existent (it's a 6ft gap between 2 other buildings in the distance)
2) There is only 1 small lift serving 8 floors, you may be in for a bit of a wait to get in or out at busy times
3) You'll need to pay €20 for breakfast and €17 to use the outdoor pool. This is pretty expensive, even for Cannes.

Overall though, this isn't a bad hotel if you can book it for the right price

We stayed there 2 nights. The hotel was amazing, very complete and with a great staff and services. The room are clean, modern and very comfortable. The hotel is in the central position and close to the beach. The abundant buffet breakfast is very good. I considered Eden Hotel one of the best 4 stars hotel were i stayed.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now with my wife and it is just fantastic, the rooms are very modern and clean, the hotel staff have always been very helpful and seem to go that little extra for you, there is a roof top pool and spa which is lovely and has great views over Cannes! there is also an in side swimming pool and spa which were both free to use by all at the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location right on the main shopping street with a number of designer shops and only 1 minute from the beach.

If you want very nice hotel in a great location then you wont find better for the same money.

My economy room is aweful, tiny and not up to par of a 4-star property. Came here for the Midem conference and forgot to book in time so I got stuck here. Paid $200 per night which is a complete rip off.
I guess there is a reason this hotel was still available when everything was sold out.
The "fitness center" is a joke, the bathroom is ridiculously small and everything looks very dated.
On the positive, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the location is very central.

This hotel is a very short walk to the Croisette and beach. It's right in the middle of everything, yet very quiet.

Hotel is attractive and well maintained, the room was clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and found it was worth the money. Also worth the extra fee was the underground parking.

Used the indoor pool a few times and found it relaxing.

Highly recommend the Eden Hotel and we would stay here again.

Cannes in December is beautiful. Crisp air, winter sun and taste rose.

the hotel Eden is located on the rue Antibes, the artery of downtown Cannes, loads of shopping and people watching opportunities. It's just two blocks back from the Croisette and a 10 min walk to the exhibition centre.

The room overlooked rue Antibes with a lovely French balcony. The sliding door meant I could sleep with the fresh air on my face. The only downside was the noisy conference folk walking down rue Antibes yahooing in the wee hours. By nt 3 I chose to keep it closed and go the a/c.
The lighting was poor and the side lamps didn't really work.
The bathrooms were rennovated and the shower pressure good. The highlight was the way the mirror swung around to enable me to shave in the shower....often the choice of the male late night conference delegate. Te toilet was separate and required some maneuvering to use. It was also old and needed replacing

Te staff were young and frendly, though the public areas they occupy are old and need a facelift. The bar surrounded by bamboo sticks was not surprisingly always empty. The gym is ordinary and you're better packing runners for the streets outside.

The highlight was the breakfast, it was consistent, and full of clever touches. I particularly liked the cheeseboard which was paired with tiny tubs of cherry and quince paste.

So if they gave some extra effort to the lighting and the public spaces, the hotel Eden would go from a 4 to a 5,

Now while you're in Cannes, try pastis bistro, l'affable and the caillot on the rue Jean dames. That was the best of the three, I loved the wine list in an old school book. Oh and avoid the black pearl... Bad for your health.

So well done sunny cannes, thanks for the memories.

Love in travel
Spoons

Room Tip: Ask for rue Antibes, there's even a water glimpse
