The location is nice, the service is fine and the food is acceptable. It is a little bit expensive, but normal for Cannes.
We paid 55 euros for a medium done beef drained in roquefort as well as some gratinated potatoes, and some chicken with mushrooms and tiny potatoes. A glass of normal quality red wine was also there, as well as half a liter of Evian water priced a 5 euros. All in all it was a poor experience, due to the hefty price.
There are many restaurants on this road. Go to the road and look at all the places and pick the one you like best. There is many, from disco-food to pizza & burgers to italian to bamboo-palace (thai) to others. You are likely to pay much in all of them, but the ambience of the place is what you are paying for.
