Very impressed with the Cavendish. My wife and I stayed there last night. The staff are friendly and welcoming and there are free drinks until 9pm which is a real treat following a long drive/flight.

The hotel has a boutique and vintage feel to it. It's a bit different to the norm and we loved that about it. The rooms were clean as well. Would highly recommend :)

Stayed in a rotunda room - very spacious and eliptical in shape - so no flat walls - hence bed in middle of the room. Room was fine although the en suite was like a sauna in the afternoon as it faces West and no windows - not sure the extractor was working in the shower either!
Good points - nice big room, air con, en suite, excellent and helpful staff, good breakfast and free drinks from 18:00 - 21:00.
Bad points - VERY noisy road outside (Boulevard Carnot leading into Cannes - 4 lanes always busy so impossible to use the 2 balconies without losing hearing) - not an easy walk to Rue D'Antibes (main shops/restaurants) and the Coissette as have to cross an even busier road than B Carnot.
Overall the location (wrong side of the railway track) lets down this nice hotel. Would not stay again due to this.

Room Tip: Only the rotunda rooms (4) offer real size (140/240/340/440)

Really good hotel, nice breakfast (for France), pleasant cocktail hour in the evening. Staff are absolutely excellent, every member was pleasant and helpful throughout the stay.

Location is handy for the train station and the airport bus. Views from the rooms are nothing special, just a high street, could be any nice town in France. Question whether the more expensive rooms are worth the money for a balcony overlooking a busy road; the standard rooms are just as good size and quality and considerably less money.

Room Tip: Don't think you have to get the best rooms, the standard rooms are very good.

Perect location just a short walk away from the town centre, and close to the train station. The hotel has some great rooms and is well decorated throughout. The reception staff are very helpful and welcoming and speak great English.
The evening drinks are a fantastic addition, helping to meet others staying in the hotel while relaxing over a few glasses of good wine (and everything else if you like!).
I would certainly recommend to others.

The hotel has a great location, just a short walk to the shops, restaurants, marina and beach. Our room was small but charming, and had everything we could need and with a liitle balcony overlooking the road. The staff were very helpful and friendly attending to us as soon as we appeared. Breakfast was great, especially for those with a sweet tooth, but you do have to pay extra for certain thinks i.e. scrambled eggs. The open bar in the evening is a lovely idea and there was a great selection of drinks.

My wife and I just wrapped up a stay at le cavendish during our honeymoon.

Overall it was a great experience. Most of all I want to compliment the entire staff at the hotel, especially emma, they were absolutely tremendous and did so much to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They even helped retrieve a lost cell phone in Paris and have it shipped back to our home in the States.

The complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails were a great bonus and provided an excellent opportunity to meet other guests of the hotel.

Guest rooms were clean, had plenty of closet space, and were well appointed.

Only minor downside was the ~7min walk to the beach, but that was more than offset by the aforementioned positives.

We would definitely recommend le cavendish to others. It was a fantastic value.

Thanks le cavendish!
