MY TRIP to Cannes was a bit disapointing with the carlton hotel in Cannes...Even thought the huge and big building is very impressive and looking luxurious....rooms with view on sea are odlies and carpets really needs to be changed. i alos had a small accident with cut on my face because the toilets are so small and tiny you can hurt the door with your face...............

i m still no good tonight

I am really sorry to learn that you haven't totally enjoyed your upgraded room, when experiencing this kind of accident, and I do regret it.

We are still trying to understand exactly what happened, as this has never occurred before in the history of the Carlton, to make sure it won't be experienced again.

But I'm reassured by the actions taken by our Manager on Duty , who has demonstrated our commitments.

Just spent 5 nights at this hotel... wow.. is all I can say.. lap of luxury. Not best time to visit Cannes - probably better when warmer and beaches open, or film festival on. Very nice though, quite, rooms great, services great, food great.

The hotel is located in the best place of Cannes. The rooms are big and comfortable but the staff was what excelling in my experience. They are always ready to help you and to give tips about the city!! I had some problems with my account in intercontinental in Marseilles and the manager made everything to solution it, ever after I left the hotel!!! The restaurant and room service are very nice!! The only point was the parking that take too much time to bring the car and is too expensive.

I stayed over the weekend at the greatest hotel in cannes precisely and cote d'azur generally. From the welcoming until departure everything was just perfect.
I dont know if the english dictionary finds words to describe such an experience.

As someone who works in the music industry I have to come to Midem the annual music industry conference here every year.

Unfortunately, the hotels in Cannes take this conference as an opportunity to overcharge music business people for every element of their trip.

Take this hotel, it charges €43 for breakfast!!! On what planet is that charge acceptable? They charge €8 for a 330ml bottle of Badoit mineral water.

They charge €6 Euro for a beer during the day but in the evening it doubles to €12.

So I chose not to eat and drink in the hotel.

This pricing structure may work during the Cannes Film Festival (in May at the beginning of the Summer season) but in the off season, they are putting people off coming to Midem which will effect the whole town.

The staff in the hotel are polite and classy but the pricing policy of the people who own this hotel is putting people off.

The fixtures and fittings of the hotel need refurbishment as they haven't been updated since the 90s.

First of all,thank you very much for posting your review following to your recent visit at the Intercontinental Carlton Cannes.
We were sorry to learn you were not satisfied with certain of its aspects.
Be sure your detailed feedback will be shared with the concerned departments
Concerning your remarks about certain of our rates , I have to inform you that our pricing policy is defined on a yearly basis except for our room rates which are varying throughout the year depending on the season.
It is the reason why we were surprised to learn about the doubling of the charge for a beer during the evening.
I personally checked our bar card and I confirm you as a result the following informations : 11 € for the french beers and 12 € for the foreign ones.
Our breakfast is indeed quoted 43 € and offers you a large and unlimited selection of warm and cold quality food arranged on several buffets .There is even a possibility to enjoy some champagne.
Following to your comments , I would like to inform you that an " express breakfast " rated 18€ is also available at the bar .
It propose you a choice of "viennoiseries" together with fruits juices and warm drinks.
Even if we did not match your expectations in terms of pricing , I would like to thank you very much for pointing out the quality of the service provided by the hotel staff.
We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to welcoming you back at the Carlton on the occasion of your future stay in Cannes
