Wandered into the museum as I was exploring the Old Town. You'll go up the hill and see the majestic shoreline that made Cannes famous. The museum itself is quite small, with some medieval artifacts on display including caskets of probably a knight or the lord of the castle. You can finish the museum in less than an hour, afterwhich you can soak in the views as the breezy Cote d'Azur blows away the aches and pains of walking up to the castle. But don't fret, it's at an easy walk unlike the path up to the palace in Monaco.
