Owner description: For a ride through the relatively narrow streets of Vieux Cannes (Le Suquet), board the train at a clearly designated site along La Croisette on its seaward side. Both tours depart every hour; each lasts between 30 and 40 minutes and each costs between 5€ and 6€ for adults, and between 2.50€ and 3€ for children under 10, depending on the tour. (The tour of the old town is the less expensive.) A combination ticket granting access on both of the two tours (which can be enjoyed on separate days, if you prefer) costs 8€ for adults and 5€ for children under 10. For details, call tel. 06-14-09-49-39.

This little train, with a map to follow and audio guide,is a great fun way to see Cannes. The tour is split into two section of new and old town and lets you decide what is worth going to see later on foot. If your time is limited take the train as it does not cost much.We didn't have to use the audio guide as we were all English the conductor did ours..

Recommend as an inexpensive tour of the the most self important places we have ever been in our lives - Cannes ! The train is run like an amateur operation and if you are told the next train is in 10 minutes, that means it will show up sometime in the future, who knows when.

In about 1 or more hours you will see all the major sights and be told how snooty Cannes is by the narrative on the train in a way that we thought the narration would quality for Saturday Night Live. This movie star slept here. This movie star ate here...you get the picture. Half the stars mentioned aren't even a big name any longer and perish the thought they would mention the important past stars such as Cooper, Grant or Boogie.

Would recommend if you have time to kill or want to see the town.

If you are deciding if to go to Cannes - Skip it! The restaurants, shop keepers and this tour are the least friendliest folks in Europe.

Thank Jeff S

Since My wife and 3 kids first visit to Cannes, so the Petit Train de Cannes was just perfect way to start the day, then they decide where to go next in foot

I enjoyed my trip in the little train in cannes. It was a ride of an hour maybe a bit more. We passed in the main points of interest of cannes. The casino, the festival centre, the famous Hotels, the beaches, the old town. Cannes is a much bigger city that I thought it would be, we had just an afternoon to see it, so I think it was a good choice

Arrived at Cannes on the Thomson Dream cruise liner. On leaving the harbour authority area we immediately came across 'Le Petit Train' and went on the 10 euros grand tour around the town which took about an hour to complete. The new expensive end of town which has grown up as a result of the annual film festival was very impressive however it lacked the charm of the the older parts of town. One laugh that we had was that when we were travelling down the premier shopping street in the expensive end of town the onboard commentary advised us that this was where all the celebrities and glamourous people and wannabes are to be seen shopping. Well at 10.30 in the morning it was full of very ordinary looking locals mainly of retirement age. The journey on the train was however a good way of getting an overview of the town.
