This really is a lovely hotel. Friendly and welcoming, with beautiful rooms and the bonus of a balcony overlooking the private garden. It is also in the perfect position, just one street back from the Croisette and the beaches and tucked away from the crowds. We have been visiting Cannes for many years and have stayed at various hotels, but once we found the Hotel de Provence we realised that no other hotel matched it. Look forward to going back again in summer 2014.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the garden so you get a balcony.

The hotel grounds and rooms are impeccable.
The staff members were resourceful, warm and provided a relaxed atmosphere.
In my opinion, this is the best boutique hotel in Cannes. It is 2 blocks away from La Croisette, and it's around the corner from the famous, Rue d' Antibes.
I would definitely stay at Hotel De Provence again!

Think about a place where cleanliness is the single most important thing, ok?
Now locate this place conveniently located in one of the most luxurious and fashionista place in the world.
Add a maniacal attention for detail...every detail. Done?
Ok, then you have a pretty good idea of what this hotel is all about.
Coziness and cleanliness elevated at the n-th exponent.
It must be your first choice in Cannes.
Don't miss it!

When you're greeted by the nicest man in France, you must write a review! That was just the beginning of our experience. It was raining upon check-in - we were offered one of many umbrellas to get our things; an extremely clean and comfortable loft room awaited our family of four; the linens were soft and the shower hot with amazing water pressure (something not always found in France!); our breakfast was served right when requested and it was fresh, tasty, and well-worth the price; each time an employee saw a member of our family, we were treated as if we were family. I just wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy this authentic boutique hotel.

I wrote a review about this hotel last time we were in Cannes. Now we’ve been back, once is not enough. This is such a lovely family-run hotel, so unlike the sterile, run-of-the-mill luxury hotels that abound these days; the sort of hotels where slick interior design covers for shoddy service. This is what we want; a delightful hotel where the owners are much in evidence, often behind the reception desk, and always willing to chat.

The hotel is so ideally placed for wandering into the centre of Cannes yet quietly located away from most traffic noise. I would pop out for a coffee before breakfast while my wife was getting ready. Cannes is a delight before 8am and I had no trouble finding a very pleasant cafe... with internet access! Incidentally, internet access is available and free at Hotel de Provence.

The rooms are cosily comfortable and a balcony room is a treat. Breakfast is traditionally French although you can order more or less what you want as extras. I would strongly recommend you taste the wine from the family’s vineyard near Borme les Mimosas, a couple of hours drive to the west.

We need to visit Cannes at least twice a year for family reasons and this is where we'll be staying, no question about it.

Room Tip: Go for a balcony room.
