We stayed at Hotel Le Canberra end of February for a 2 night stay.
the location was great near to everything shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep.
The beach was a short walk away. the staff are very friendly and helpful when needed.
The hotels grounds and room was very clean and tidy. we had a lovely room over looking the pool. the bed was very comfy we both had a great nights sleep. lovely modern bathroom with surround sound.
Great friendly people in Cannes, Dinning out in the old town is a MUST!
We also had a wonderful day trip 20 minutes boat ride off the bay of Cannes, is Saint Honorat Island, in the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea. For 16 centuries, Today the community is made up of 25 monks living modestly and peacefully in this unspoilt sun-kissed paradise where the monks have been making wine with passion and art since the Middle Ages an oasis with great views small gift store and a fantastic Restaurant over looking the sea is a MUST day trip.

We absolutely loved our 2 night stay at this hotel! Great location for exploring & very friendly staff. It has a great boutique feel and our room was beautiful - very modern & I (more so than my husband) loved the pink theme. We would definitely return! We booked online a few months prior to arrival and paid a rate significantly less than they were showing on the door.

Great location , near the beach / Rue D antibes etc
Ask for a garden room with balcony as its quieter on this side.
Great rooms , nice pool , pleasant staff .

Breakfast very pricey
Cant vouch for the meals as we dined out every night in local restaurants

Room Tip: Garden side

Rooms, staff, beds, breakfast, location all excellent. What was really super was the peace despite being so so centrally located. We were pleased not to have the usual nighttime city disturbances, rather peaceful sleep. We weren't disturbed by the lift or the breakfast room below and when we awoke could smell the pastries cooking. Mmmmm!

Our gripe is that, having booked 2 rooms for a week, we were only told when we were on our way at the airport that the pool would be closed. This was one of the very important factors in our stay and had they told us when they decided not to refill it earlier in the week, we could have rebooked elsewhere. We had teenagers for whom the pool was key and had sent an email asking about towels only days before. We were offered the possibility of using the beach of a restaurant if we ate there but that was a very pricy option esp having paid for a hotel with a pool and having paid a higher rate in order to have 48 hour cancellation included.

Presumably this doesn't usually happen and it is just because we had the misfortune to be visiting in the last week of the season but it is a poor decision on their part and could have been better dealt with. If it weren't for this and a broken bike in the gym it would be a 5 star review.

Unfortunately, as it is, we made the best of the lovely hotel but feel cheated re the pool.

The mini bar was expensive which is usual.

I had to go and get my own soya milk to use at breakfast. They wouldn't supply it. In hotel sandwiches were prohibitively priced which was a shame. Of course, being a nice hotel, there were no kettles in the room so we couldn't have a nice cup of tea in the afternoon without paying something like 20 Euros I think for the 4 of us is we had gone to the bar.

It may also be useful to know that they also close the restaurant out of season.

There is a small office where you can go online and print things if you need to which is useful.

I had an enjoyable 3 night stay in this hotel not only because of its close proximity to shopping area, it is a hotel with a heart for guests. Staff at the front desk are efficient and conscientious. They are friendly and eager to help. Rooms are bright and clean, amenities handy and adequate. Breakfast is sumptuous with good varieties and is relaxing with its little pool just by the side. My only complaint is it would be much better is there are enough lighting at night for dinner in the same restaurant. The hotel staff adds great value to its chain and it is definitely worth a try.

We have just had a very nice stay at this lovely Hotel! Great room overlooking the cute pool and gardens below with fabulous palm trees everywhere! So nice to be able to walk straight out onto the Rue d' Antibes shopping street! Location perfect!
Our room was immaculate! Very clean! And nice and bright too! Only a couple of annoying points to make ... the bathroom lighting not great for making up face! And the wash basin in bathroom very shallow for shaving! But bed very comfortable indeed! Great flat screen tv (not that we watched it much). The lights in the evening were also very good ...not glaring as with some Hotels we have stayed at. Staff very nice also, helpful and friendly.
We did not eat here as we ate out but our stay was a really pleasant one and we would go back to this Hotel and stay again happily!

I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of September and only have good things to say about my experience. The hotel is very well-located, right on the main shopping thoroughfare of Rue d'Antibes and only a 5-minute walk to the Croisette. The interiors are clean and modern, and the staff was very welcoming and gracious.

My partner and I stayed in the Terrace Junior Suite on the 4th floor (troisième
étage), which was very spacious. The bed was large and firm, the blackout shades did the trick, and the bathroom was open and airy. We had a stand-up shower in our bathroom, but we also had a tub with a glass door separator and a retractable handheld shower head that could be raised and secured, converting the tub into a stand-up shower (not sure if all the rooms have this, but it was a smart feature). The air conditioning worked well, which was a definitive plus because the weather was warm during our stay.

The breakfast in the morning was also wonderful, with lots of choices - yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, fruit juice, eggs, toast, pastries, meats and cheeses, omelettes, sausage, bacon. Breakfast was served in the atrium overlooking the pool, which was a very lovely way to start the day.

We had rented a car for our entire stay. The hotel has a few parking spaces in the back, and I believe the cost is €25/day. No spaces were available during our stay, so we parked at the Lamy garage, only a block away off Rue d'Antibes for €17/day.

Next time I'm in Cannes, I would definitely stay at the Le Canberra. It was quite the gem.

Room Tip: For a little extra room and for not a lot of extra money, request a suite.
