myself and a friend have just come home having stayed in this hotel for one week and I have to say I don't think you could stay in a friendlier place in Cannes. We booked last minute after being let down by our originally planned hotel. One hour after booking we arrived and we could not have been more welcomed, the manager was one of the nicest guys I have had the pleasure of meeting, he went out of his way to explain everything we needed to know about Cannes and the surrounding area. The rooms were adequate, not the largest but clean and they were cleaned every day by a couple of friendly maids. Breakfast was to a good standard also. The French Riviera is not the cheapest of places to visit but if you want to visit on a budget then you can't go wrong booking into this hotel. Close to everything clean and tidy and very friendly.

WARNING: This hotel puts 2 adults (mother and daughter) in a single room! Room 305 is horrible. It´s very small (you can only be in the bed) and dark with only one tiny window facing the back yard with all the AC machines. The bed is approx 130cm wide and very hard so we couldn´t sleep at all. The room is very damp and smells terrible. There was only one plastic IKEA cup for thootbrush, tiny shower cabin with dirty plastic curtain, no hair dryer or flat iron even if the web site tells you there will be. We tried to change to bigger room but this was not possible. When we left the manager apologizes for the small room and offers us better room for "very good prize" for our next visit instead for some compensation directly. I have traveled in Cote d´Azur for some 30 years but never had such a terrible room for 121euros/night! Sorry Alize, there will be no next time for us.

If you're looking for a clean place to sleep, take a shower and unpack your bag in Cannes, this is it. The hotel is pretty basic, but the location and staff supersede what the interior lacks. Yes, the rooms are small, but its France, all hotel rooms within this price category are small. The bed was comfortable with crisp white bedding. The bathroom was larger than expected and very clean. But.....the manager. Friendliest guy I've ever met in France. He went out of he's way to make us feel welcome at he's hotel and took time to explain where exactly we were and how to get to the attractions etc. Cannes isn't very big, but it was a nice change from the usual pay and shut up mentality you get in France. The location of the hotel couldn't be better, literally a 2 min walk to the promenade and is surrounded by restaurants and bars. Highly recommend!!!
