“Yes, its the French Riviera!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

Coincidently here during the Cannes Film Festival, so red carpet & mostly unknown celebs floating around... Great if your here for a spot of designer shopping and a stroll along the beach.. The parallel street rue d'Antibes has something for everyone. Tommy Hilfiger is loved here.. If you buy designer remember to get the paperwork for the VAT(tax) refund.

“Top Beach - Top People Watching”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

Excellent sandy beach with a wide promenade above. You can walk along the town side and visit all the exclusive shops and expensive hotels and watch the Ferraris, Bentleys etc or stroll along the sea side and watch the people - anytime day or night it's busy.

The public beaches are at each end, and the private ones work in from there to the middle getting progressively more expensive as you move to the centre. Our opinion the best value is the municipal beach 20.40 eu for the day with parasol deck chairs, loos, showers and lockers.
They are the ones with the yellow and the blue parasols.

On the promenade itself are a series of numbered cabins offering snacks drinks etc., these are actually quite good value, and cheaper than going to a café in town. They have a turquoise branding stripe.

There are also blue metal chairs scattered along the promenade and you can just pull one up and sit on them day or night.

“People watch and window shop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Nice promenade along the beach. Tons of stores to window shop, cafes, fancy hotels. Walk along and enjoy all the different sites and watch the interesting mixture of people enjoying it as well - old, young, rich, poor. Ocean front restaurants and private beaches as well. Really most of what you plan on enjoying in Cannes is here.

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Was there during the film festival in Cannes. I travel on a budget (always!) so this beamed me into a new and interesting world. There was so much to see - the Casino, the red carpet, all the TV teams, the places where the journalists take pictures, the expensive cars, the expensive, but ugly designer dresses, the yachts, the AIDA, .... loved the day, it was really a special experience. You can walk la Croisette without being bored. If you are on a budget, bring a picknic, a ordinary pizza was close to 40€ (not that I had one :D).

“lovelyyyyy”

it not worth to pay money in any private beach, since the public ones are really nice and clean and ironicaly enough, it has more space especially f you have children
