This was the most memorable meal I've ever had. 5 amazing courses plus wine, apertif, and digestive for 45 euros per person!!!

It is a true hidden gem and cannot be missed. The location is very hidden- you have to walk up the hill in the Old Town of Cannes, past the tower, and turn onto a winding, dead end street. Keep walking, you will be rewarded...

The food was incredible and very authentic provencal. There was a set menu, and they began bringing us a starter course of charcuterie, baguette, terrine, and an apertif the moment we sat down. We ordered a bottle of wine which was included in the 45 euro prix fixe. A salad came next, and then my favorite-- the truffle ravioli...OMG. A ravioli stuffed with cheese and truffle, topped with whole truffle slices, and more truffles ground up in a delicious white sauce. Amazing. Before the main course, they brought us a shot of vodka as a digestive. Although the menu was fixed, there were quite a few choices for the main plat, all of which sounded incredible. I had the quail and my boyfriend had the leg of lamb. They were both superb. For dessert we had crepes suzette and profiteroles.

And just when we were obsessing with the food, thinking it could not get any better, the owner and his three piece band comes out and starts playing for us! There were only four tables occupied in this small restaurant, but they did such a good job entertaining they had everyone singing along, clapping, and dancing in their chairs. It was the most fun i've ever had at dinner. We had a chance to speak with the band after, and the owner shook our hands when we eventually left (relluctantly)-- this is truly an authentic, family owned, genuinely friendly place.

Dont get me wrong-- the Michelin Star restaurant was superb. But looking back on my trip, I find myself craving the food from Le Salon the most. This is not to be missed!!

We came here on our last evening after a 3 week holiday in the South of France since we wanted to be sure that we would have a perfect good-bye dinner, and we weren't disappointed!

Food was amazing, the fixed menu still had many options for the main course, and it was difficult to choose, as they all sounded delicious. Wine was great and especially, the staff was charming and very friendly. The music created a great party atmosphere, so we left the place even more pumped than we entered it! Absolutely recommend it!

Dined here last night after reading Trip Advisor reviews. Incredibly good value at 45 euros for a set menu which included in terms of liquids: a glass of crement (not champagne as reported by others), a bottle of wine (between two) and a shot of vodka. For food, a delicious home made terrine and tasty salad to start off, followed by some really good ravioli stuffed with ricotto and some shavings (small shavings!) of truffle. There was a good choice of main courses - fish very nice and simple. Our three boys had the lamb, pork ribs and duck and all enjoyed it. The main course was served with a nice dish of gratin potatoes. Good desserts too: we chose fruit salad (simple but good), panacotta and moelleux au chocolat. All very nice. The owner (very nice Spanish lady fluent in lots of languages) did a reduced price menu for our two younger children (without alcohols! and the ravioli) for 25 euros which was very fair. Children were made feel very welcome. Now we booked late in the afternoon and counted ourselves lucky to get a table. We were however in the 'over-flow' roon which was pretty much empty while we were there. Live musicians (very good guitars, harp and vocal) got going around 9pm. After tuning up in our room they played us a few songs. They then got fired up for full swing in the room next door. My advice would be book for around 8:15 / 8:30 and ask for main room. Maybe the secondary room fills up later in the evening. Anyway, we would definitely go back. Would be great fun to go with a group of friends, but it was also perfect for family.

We had a lovely meal at Le Salon on 14th Aug.
I looked up the restaurant on Trip Advisor and made reservations prior to us traveling.
It's hidden away from the madness that Cannes is and once there you will have the best experience ever! Will not go into details with the way the restaurant works and what they offer as I do not want to spoil the surprise.
It is a set menu, cost 45 Euro pp and you get more than enough...
We did not fall in love with Cannes, but Le Salon is a reason to visit the city again!!!
