What a surprise! We made reservations for 8 on a Saturday night. The owner greeted us at the door with a warm and sincere hand shake. The table was ready in the main dining room that is decorated in a marocan style with Berbers frescoes on the wall, colored glass windows and rustic furniture. They only serve couscous and you have different choices of meats and meats combo. They carry wines from Algeria, Tunisia and morocco. I recommend the Tellal or the Sidi Brahim rose. The service was a bit slow but the server was so friendly and willing that you just forgot the time. Everything came out hot and as ordered. The lamb was delicious and so were the Merguez. Prices are moderate and portions perfect. You can always ask for more "bouillon" sauce or "graine" couscous at no extra charge. We had a great time and will make sure to go back every time we are in Cannes.
