Other people's reviews were right on. If I hadn't read trip advisor I never would have found this place, or stopped here. With so many restaurants to choose from in this area it is difficult to decide, but Le Manoir is a winner. Limited but delightful menu. My wife had the lobster risotto and said it was one of the best she's ever eaten, with generous portions of lobster done to perfection. Everything was good, and I'd recommend it.

A lovely little restaurant with excellent food and a great atmosphere. Our waiter spoke English which assisted us with our choices. This was another Trip Advisor recommendation and it did not disappoint.

While in Cannes we had already been to quite a few places that we were told were good by friends but frankly weren't very good.

We went to Le Manoir a few days before the end of our two week stay in Cannes on the basis of the good reviews on Trip Advisor. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was beautifully judged. The duck was tender. The scallops were some of the best I ever ate. The tempura delicious! We had pasta that was freshly made and cooked perfectly with lobster to die for. I can't say enough good about this place. The service was impeccable. The wine list was reasonable and the wine we got was great.

Le Manoir was so good that we went back again - and it was just as good, if not better.

If and when we ever go back to Cannes - we're going to Le Manoir.

Some people might think that it's expensive but it's not. It's amazing value for what you get. Go to the Carlton and order a sandwich and you'll see what I mean!

The chef here is a star.

Tried this restaurant on a recent visit to Cannes and were well impressed with the service, menu and food on offer.
Good value with the lobster and truffle risotto being extra special.
Lively part of town with great atmosphere.
Will certainly go back on our next visit.

After 4 days in Cannes, finding this place was a delight.

We are generally fairly good at spotting tourist traps and this restaurant has a few suggestions that the food may not meet the hype - but you'd be wrong.

The foie gras starter was exceptional; perfectly seared and served on a bed of caramelised apple. We ordered Sauternes to go with it and we're served with two rather generous glasses of sublime wine that was all the more surprising when we saw that it cost €8 each.

The duck main course couldn't have been much better and the 1er Cru Monterey at €66 was a perfect match.

Desserts were light and a cognac was similarly generous. Even more so that it was topped up when my wife was served a complimentary limoncello.

At €182 it's not a cheap meal, but when you break it down (2 x €38 menu, 2 x €4 water, 1 x €66 Burgundy, 2 x €8 Sauternes, 1 x €3 cafe, 1 x €13 cognac) it's excellent value for the quality.

Next time we're in Cannes it will be our first stop, not out last.
