After a big day out we were not keen to travel too far for an evening meal and not 50 metres from our accommodation was Fleur de Sel. A quaint, intimate little restaurant in the old castle precinct. This was an excellent meal matched by good service, good wine and fabulous ambience. Back home you pay much more for this kind of food and setting. It was clear care had been taken in setting the menu and selecting the wines that best matched the food. An unexpected surprise if staying up around the castle.
