The location is great within walking distance to metro. You are 20 minutes away from Monte Carlo, Monaco, Cannes and 10 min from Maldives. We went to monaco's grand prix and cannes film festival. The room view #⃣37 was amazing. The double room had a small kitchen. There is a convinience store across the street. There are many restaurants on the street with every price to fit your budget. Employees were helpful and reception accommodating to our needs. Expedia made an error in our reservations and they simply said, No problem we want you to be happy! Loved the location! Beautiful small town. The beach is across the street. The locals run and there is a bike path if you want to rent one. There is a local artist Gallo, she paints beautiful paintings of cagnes sur mer. The prices are incredible! I bought souvenirs for all my friends here. I definitely recommend staying in this hotel and town. Peaceful, relaxing and close to it all for an incredible price/service.

Appart'e is just behind the Aeva Beach hotel and is therefore very well located. You just need to cross the Boulevard de la plage and you are at the beach. We stayed here for four nights, in a wheelchair accessible room (22m2). Good size bathroom and a mini kitchenette, big enough to cook breakfast if you didn't want to have breakfast at the hotel. Nice private entrance and terrace; unfortunately the guests upstairs loved to throw their cigarettes and ashes from the balcony. Free wifi. Personal at reception very helpful and friendly, but the cleaning was a disaster. Of course the towels were changed, but not much more. On the first day, they didn't even show up and during the whole week, the floors were not done once. Would have been appreciated, as the weather was often rainy. But perhaps ones cannot expect hotel cleaning quality in an appart'e hotel.

Stayed here for the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix. We were very impressed with the room bearing in mind how reasonable the price was. We had a very comfortable double bed in a decent sized room with balcony; Clean bathroom which was also of a decent size. Our room also had a fridge, cooker, microwave and sink. There is a supermarket about 5 - 10 mins walk away if you wanted to make full use of the facilities.

The Aeva Hotel has a restaurant and bar where we had drinks a couple of nights we were there. These were relatively reasonably priced. The bar staff were also very friendly.

A couple of things to point out. My booking confirmation said that check-in time was 1pm but when we turned up at 1pm we were told that check-in was 3pm. They did however find us a room which was ready so we could check-in rather than have to wait.
On check-out I was charged 6 Euro more than my booking confirmation.

Transport
I emailed the hotel (Appart'e is run by Aeva Hotel which is just in front) to find out the best way to get from the airport to the hotel and was told to get a taxi which would be expensive. We actually got bus number 500 from the airport terminal 1 station. We got off at Les Oliviers (bus journey took approx 15 mins) and walked down to the beach and along to the hotel which took approximately 10 mins. We found out on the way home that bus 200 and 94 from the same stop would also take you to the airport but stops outside the airport rather than driving into the terminal bus station. This isn't a problem as there is a pathway from the bus stop to the terminal building and takes 30 seconds. Bus fares seem to all be 1 Euro.

We got the train to Monaco from Cagnes Sur Mer which was very handy as from Nice-Ville the train became absolutely packed and was standing room only. As Cagnes Sue Mer is a few stops before Nice Ville the train wasn't as busy and you could still get a seat. The train to Monaco from here takes about 40 minutes. The train to Monaco cost 11 Euros return.

I would definitely recommend this place to stay. The town is beautiful and close enough to Nice for it not to be too much of a hassle getting to the town.

As we returned from day trip to Monaco we found that our balcony doors was left wide opened by whom we don't know as we locked balcony doors and left the hotel. Checked the room, but couldn't find anything missing. So we decided to complain in the morning about room service quality.
All the good emotions and amazing experience of enjoying Cote d'Azur was ruined after terrible screams and noise at 2am in the early morning hours. It sounded like someone would be on our balcony and having a brawl and any minute would break into our room.
As it turned out it was robbery while neighbouring room guests where sleeping. As we shared one balcony we became involved too. Someone broke into our neighbours room whilst they were sleeping and as they heard somebody making noise they actually had to confront robber who managed to escape jumping off the 1st floor balcony taking with him their possessions and money.
After all the terror and police questioning we couldn't sleep all night because we didn't feel safe and emotional distress caused by attack. We kindly asked us to relocated to another room and were told that hotel will deal with it in the morning.
Sleeping just couple of hours we found out that our room is the best view to sea and we should stay there, that there isn't any spare rooms left and that anything like we experienced last night never had happened before. Hotel staff were regretting that we had that experience and they told us several times that they are sorry.
It was very complicated to communicate with members of staff due to their lack of knowledge of English and forwarding us to different members of staff.
We were very disappointed and felt very unsafe during rest of our stay. Hotel management didn't offer us any compensation for our distress and inconvenience as we failed to sleep safely for the remaining stay. Even after we told them that air con wasn't working in our room and we were afraid to open windows or balcony doors whilst we would sleep due to recent attack. Their response was that they fixed it already after guests complained about it, but it may need some time to start working again.
All in all location is very nice if you don't want to stay in centre of Nice and enjoy suburban lifestyle by sea. Facilities were recently renovated, but showed cracks, leaking shower, holes on bathroom wall, not working air con and safe that didn't lock.
Hotel admininstration should consider to improve their level of customer service and dealing with unexpected situations.

After a shocking 7 minute cab ride that cost 35 Euros, we arrived around 1:30 pm after a 12 hour travel day with 3 kids in tow, only to be told our room would not be ready until 3pm. We left our bags and went for a walk with our tired kids. Came back around 3, still no room ready so we sat at the hotel's cafe. What a mistake! If I remember correctly, kids had soda at 3.5 Euros a pop, and we had small European coffee at about 3 Euros a cup. Yikes! Finally at 3:30, we headed to our room.
Room was a good size suite with room for us and separate sleeping/living area for kids. No elevator, so be prepared to haul your luggage up some stairs (thankfully, the kind woman at the front desk helped with this). The room has a small kitchenette (cook top, microwave, small fridge), which was helpful. Unfortunately, the condensation from the A/C was dripping in the hall when we got there and continued through the night. We had assumed (wrongly) that it would stop on its own, but it ended up forming quite a puddle in the hall (hence, lots of towels used to mop up). The view was not ocean front, but you could see the beach from our window and good size balcony.
Overall, the experience was not so great and I would stay elsewhere next time.

We stayed 3 nights but wanted to stay more. Hotel is in the perfect location to enjoy Nice, Cannes and Grasse. Hotel is across the road from a pebble swimming beach and just behind sister property (our room had sea views and was on 1st floor Room21), room was clean, reception helpful and little kitchen in our suite was all we needed. We had three in this room and was cosy but comfortable.Only issue that could be improved was the shower when on the large shower monsoon setting water went a bit everywhere. But would recommend anyone yo stay here. I will be back and for longer next time.
