We really enjoy the stay at Domain du Jas.
We were welcomed by Michel and he show us our room and it was big and very clean, with fridge and all you need.
Breakfast by the pool was great and plenty.
We definitely recommend this hotel, for the service, location and the relaxing atmosphere.

Room Tip: All of them are very quiet

We stayed here for the spring medieval fete in Biot. I'd considered staying in the village but as it turned out the crowds came out in force on this super sunny weekend. So a 10 minute walk up to the festivities was simply perfect. In addition the firework show was between the hotel and the village five minutes away.
We loved our room with a large terrace balcony over looking the gardens pool and mountains. Comfortable bed ,Great bath, working wifi all the time, even found bbc world on the TV.
The staff were wonderful however be warned they close Sunday afternoon. Crowds peaked seriously on Sunday so we were totally ready to train back to Nice. However had we arrived Saturday and wanted to leave bags or car we'd have been disappointed. The guys were very kind tho and gave me some extra time to make meet up arrangements.

I have stayed here with my 14 year old daughter and loved every minute of it. The hotel is just on the outskirts of Biot but local buses run regularly very cheaply to the village. Breakfasts were served on an upper terrace to the pool and were very good. My only problem would be that you cannot get other meals or snacks here. I had to rely on public transport or taxis which were expensive ie £60 to get to the airport, however if you are looking for a brief stay, I would recommend this location. Those that say it's 5 mins walking distance to Biot must be very good walkers as it took that longer on the bus! Seriously it is a steep uphill hike. If like me you have chest problems I would say a good 30 minutes plus.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the pool area and was lovely, however it was up steps so not suitable for those...

By very good luck, we happened upon this hotel -- without reservations. Lovely, clean room, very nice swimming pool and patio. Excellent breakfast and service. The staff were friendly and approachable and the house wine was very nice. We highly recommend this hotel.

We chose the Domaine du Jas to stay before using a friends apartment in Mougins as it had very good reviews from previous visitors. The hotel lived up to and exceeded expectations being in a beautifully quiet location with delightful views to the small hill town of Biot. The room was clean and well presented with a lovely balcony overlooking the delightful pool area. What made the hotel stand out was the care and attention of the staff especially Michel who took a care and interest in his guests making sure we had restaurant recommendations which were detailed and knowledgeable, so much so that we returned during our stay to try out several of them! Breakfast though not cheap was extensive and served on the delightful hotel terrace all in all a wonderful place to be and hopefully return to.

We stayed here for a week in the middle of June and I must say we were positively surprised. We are quite high-maintance when it comes to hotels and staying at a "only" three-star hotel was a bit scary. It need not be extremely luxorious however it must be clean.

We had two double rooms, each equipped with a lovely balcony overlooking a garden with lemon trees and orange blossoms. The rooms were cleaned and the beds made each day. Our room in itself was also very nice, in the colour of lavender and light blue (however the second room was in burgundy - not as pretty), the beds comfortable and the bathroom clean (towels etc. were changed each day as well).

We also had the hotel breakfast each day which was very nice considering it was in France (where they generally don't have such good breakfasts...) with fresh fruit, yoghurt and cornflakes/müsli, juice, coffee, tea, different types of cheese and cold meat, croissants and bread. You sat outside eating, overlooking the gardens and the pool - lovely! The only thing which we found a bit odd and not to good about breakfast was that the bread they served was either toast or those "store-bought" mini-baguettes. How can they not buy fresh baguettes each day with a boulangerie just around the corner with wonderful bread?! We are in France - where the baguettes are cheap and delicious.

The hotel was also equipped with a pool which was extremely nice during the warm days. There were also towels and sunbeds.

The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and service-minded. Big plus! The location too was nice, not far from Cannes, Antibes, St-paul-de-Vence, Mougins... and 5 minutes walking distance from Biot's town square where the restaurants were situated (however it was a quite steep uphill climb.. but easier on the way back!)

Overall the hotel Domaine du Jas was and exceptional hotel, extremely cheap considering what we got... The one thing which might drag down it's grade might be however that you could not sit down by the pool, where you hade breakfast in the morning, and order something to drink and something small to snack on. But that was a minor problem and I truly recommend this wonderful, wonderful hotel!

It was my first visit to Biot and after reading several reviews I decided to choose the Domaine du Jas. I don't always make great choices but in this case I made a good decision. The hotel is pretty, clean, and a short walk away from the old village of Biot. The room I had overlooked the pool and was comfortable and clean. The decor is not what I would have chosen for my own home, but it was fine. This hotel is not an old historic inn that you could find at other places in France so the rooms may lack a bit of charm but for sleeping and relaxing on the balcony after a day of sightseeing they are fine. The breakfast served by the pool was very nice and had a good variety. The staff in the hotel were all very kind and helpful and were eager to answer questions and recommend restaurants and things to do and see.
Biot was really a cool place and we enjoyed it more than we expected. The village was a center of 'jar' production over the centuries and huge jars that once transported olive oil and wine around the Mediteranean were produced there. There are serveral nice restaurants, shops, and galleries in the village. We bought table cloths in this store on the main plaza and they were priced much lower than the same table cloths in Eze or Antibes.
One of the best meals we had on our trip was in the Le Cafe de la Poste. This place appears to be frequented by both locals and tourists and our meal was really excellent.
When I am stressed at work I close my eyes and pretend I am in Biot. The Domeine du Jas is the perfect place to base your trips around the region.

Room Tip: As for a view of the pool.
