The food was just ok. Prices were a bit expensive. The owner seemed surly and unfriendly didnt want to chat

I found this place poor to mediocre. Service was slow, Example: we asked for a carafe of water and a good wine. The wine came straight away, whilst we had to ask for the water 3 times, it came after our starters were finished, by which time the kids were bone dry.
The food was nothing to write home about. Example: the menu, at 30 Euros per head included a burger!?!
Its only selling point is its location: if you are stuck in Beaulieu then you're not spoiled for choice, especially later on in the day. If you have access to a car then get over to Nice where your money will get you much better quality for much less.
Needless to say I wont be going back.

We were glad to come across the Berlugan after our two hour walk around Cap Ferrat but the restaurant can only be described as "average" . The ravioli was said to be home made and was totally acceptable. The salad was large and sustaining. The wines were OK...so all in all it was fine but not outstanding

Was staying in a nearby hotel which was too expensive to have dinner, when having a look around Beaulieu it seemed qiute busy here, good selection on the menu and reasonable.

The food was delicious, freshly prepared and home made, the service was very good.

We returned the previous night as there wasn't much choice in Beaulieu for places to eat as it was out of season , but we weren't disappointed as we had lovely food again.

They make the best pizza's but they are massive!

Would definetley return to eat here should I be so lucky to return to Beaulieu one day!! ;-)

We popped into Le Berlugan for lunch after a long walk around Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, so we were starving hungry by the time we staggered into Beauleiu. We both ordered pizza and a beer each, service was very fast - bringing lovely thin crust pizzas with loads of taste. I had Le Reine (ham, olives and mushrooms) and my husband had the chorizo.
We were still full for hours, even after walking back several miles.
A traditional French restuarant. Highly recommended.
