“Great restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2012

We booked a table for 20 people and arrived with 25! Good choice of menus or a la carte meals. Staff helpful and friendly and the meals served were of good quality and very tasty.

“Good food if you can accept poor condescending service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2012

The food is decent however nothing special. Be forewarned that smoking clients seem to take precedence over non smokers. The owner was also very condescending when requested clarification about a dish on the menu. When asked if it was a slice of ham his remark was "well we cant give you the whole ham". Bottom line this restaurant wouldn't survive 1 week if it were in any other region other than the tourist saturated Riviera but if you have to eat somewhere it is better than most.

“Superb”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012 via mobile

This restaurant is simply superb. From the moment we walked in Christophe looked after us. The food was 'délicieux' and the service even better. All the restaurants we ate at in Beaulieu were good, but this was just outstanding. (we were there for a four night stay). If you want good food with the best service you will ever find anywhere, then this is the place to eat.

“Good”

Restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Service was excellent - friendly, helpful, efficient. Food was good rather than outstanding, even slightly bland. Overall a pleasant evening.

“Disappointed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 22, 2012

We ate here following a recommendation from our hotel receptionist, but left disappointed by the uninspiring food. We had a set menu, which had reasonable choice, but were not totally sure how the dishes would come, so we ended up being a bit surprised. One of the starters was basically a portion of tuna mayonaise with salad and toast - I can make this at home very easily. We both chose cod in a Normandy sauce which turned out to be mushroom stroganoff (didn't really go with fish) and came with pasta (also didn't fit well). Desert was the best part but they were fairly average, a citrus tart and a fruit & cream pastry - typical sweets from a decent bakery I would say. When going out to a restaurant (particularly one recommended to you) you would expect something better than this. Perhaps the a la carte is higher quality but our experience hardly encourages us to return to find out.
