Loved sitting outside on a warm evening with such delicious food, good wine choice too and quirky waiter. My meal was sensational.

Every year, we spend 5 months in the South of France to get away from the Sydney winter. Le Transat has always been a favourite, but in November 2011 I thought they dropped the ball. We went back in June 2012 and must tell you they have got a new cook, a new style of presentation, and a few new dishes. They changed the outdoor dining, too, and made things more permanent. Food for every taste: shellfish and seafoods, meats, birds, games. Lots of family groups turn up Friday nights. It seems to be a regular local hangout.

The service is probably what makes this restaurant. The Farcis and fish are good. Nice atmosphere.

Was until 3 years ago one of Antibes's best restaurants. It needs to get back to what it was.

It signature dish of Spaghetti Fruits de Mer has seen better days and its wine selection needs to be overhauled.

Still a lot better than many others in Antibes, though not what it was a few years ago, sitting back on its laurels when it should cut back on its selection and focus on what it does best.

Still good, but not as good as it was.

The waiters set out to entertain and succeed. Food is OK - not outstanding.
