Port Vauban is a very pretty port close to the old town of Antibes. Good for a stroll along the water while admiring all the yachts. They come in all sizes, with the big super yachts along the Quai des Millardaires. Dream away !

If in Antibes you'll hardly miss this port. Port Vauban is Europe’s largest marina in tonnage with its 1642 berth places for yachts and superyachts. Impressive sight in all it's splendour. And the setting is not bad as well, with Antibes and Fort Carre in the background. Though if you don't find this display of polished yachts as your cup of tea, then this is not a place to spend too much of your time.

All these super marinas around the world offer a view of how the well off (very well off) live . Hard not to take pictures of the better (bigger) ones.
One in particular was so big it was moored on the outside marina wall. Wow!

Worth an hour or 2 to wander round.

Plenty of yachts to see but unfortunately couldn't walk down past the "super Yachts". Great views across the bay towards Nice and the snow capped Alps and the fortress, Fort Carre. There is also a great little beach nestled up against the old town's walls which was even in use on a windy March morning.

There are so many luxury yachts moored here, and many walkways to get a good close-up view. Worth exploring the many and varied moorings.
