I’m unable to say one bad word about this place. The hotel is run by a very nice artist couple, who did a great job creating a very stylish hotel with an incredible ambiance. The rooms are small, but, hey, who comes to the south of France to stay in? It’s quite a walk to the town’s centre and the old town, but it’s only a short walk from probably the best beach in Antibes! The charming courtyard was perfect for morning breakfasts (generous and served in playful crockery). Claude and Yves were very helpful and their advice, especially, if relating to any subject of art, were invaluable. There’s also a possibility to buy the charming paintings, china and other stuff made by Yves.

My wife and I spent a long weekend at La Jabotte in mid-October. The hotel is very small, I think less than 10 rooms and the rooms are tiny - so tiny that we had to unpack our bags in shifts. The garden, dining room and guest rooms are beautifully decorated and have lots of hidden touches. Breakfast is a very nice touch - fresh baked breads, fresh fruits, jams, etc. I would go back just for the coffee. It's a great way to start the day in Antibes. The hotel is a short walk to the beaches and only a few more minutes to the Old Town.

We would like to keep Hotel La Jabotte our own secret but that would be unfair to Yves and Claude our excellent hosts. Not to forget Tommy the dog. We had a wonderful week at Hotel La Jabotte in the beginning of October. Nice atmosphere, friendly service and excellent breakfast served on the little porch outside our room. It was our first visit to the Antibes area and we really liked it. Antibes herself with "Le Vieil Antibes", the beaches and especially the great scenic walk around Cap D'Antibes from " Baie de La Garoupe". We hope to be back not too long from now - and than for sure we will stay at Hotel La Jabotte again.

During our time on the Riviera, we were delighted to stay at Hotel La Jabotte. Our hosts were thoughtful and helpful, providing everything from a wonderful breakfast to help getting to the train station on time. Every corner of the place is decorated with adorable, quaint little touches, topped off by Tommy the dog who was a perfect gentleman. Staying in the off season, I thought the price was just right. Breakfast included fruit, yogurt, huge croissants, baguettes, homemade jam, a full pot of coffee, juice and sweets. Though it may be a little far outside town for non-drivers, we still managed on foot (perhaps a 25 minute walk along the gorgeous sea shore to the old town). Absolutely loved it and would happily return on another trip!

Professional and thoughtful hosts. Beautifully located 5 minutes from Plage Solis.Courtyard setting ideal for intimacy and relaxation. Each room individually designed. Small and quaint. Wonderful breakfasts . The establishment exudes an artistic temperamwent and resonated with us and most guests we observed. Very highly recommended. The coup de gras was a surprise and free breakfast because we had to leave at 5:00am. What a wonderful send off. Hosts were very helpful and beach gear provided gratis.

We will return and urge all to try for a unique "local" experience.

Room Tip: request a patio room for longer stays.

We had read such great reviews of this place and while some things are indeed lovely it was generally a disappointment. The position is good, the courtyard very pretty and the hosts were very welcoming however the rooms are tiny as are the bathrooms and the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. There is no privacy as the rooms all face onto the courtyard and it was too hot to close the windows or curtains for that matter (Our trip was in July). A tiny fan was provided but offered very little relief. After a sleepless night (heat + terrible bed + mosquitoes) we decided to leave in the morning. This is not really a place for young couples but I can certainly see the appeal to perhaps slightly older travellers. As I said though, the hosts were lovely and it is a nice setting, just not what we had expected.

We had read the reviews in Rick Steve's and on trip advisor and thought this hotel sounded like a reAl gem, but what a disappointment! The hotel is extremely hard to find and the street signs are incorrect to the address. Parking is extremely limited. The courtyard was charming, but rather useless because you can't do much there as whispering seems to be the required mode of conversation there. As one of our party was I'll, we attempted to eat a light meal there one evening and were soundly reprimanded by the hotel owner. The rooms are extremely small, with only about six inches separating the bed from the wall on each side. There was only one chair so someone always had to sit on the bed. The bathroom was equally small, and the shower had no curtain or door so water went every where when you used it. The room was clean but not spotless. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. The host gave us some help when asked, but never seemed overly friendly as others have stated. Our stay here was one of the most expensive during our whole French experience, and certainly not worth it in comparison to other sites. We could not recommend this hotel to others.
