We booked in december 2011 for 3nights in July 2012! When we arrived we where given room 9 and 10, room 10 smelt fusty and damp! Room 9 smelt of Fish! even the man who showed us the rooms said about the smell, he gave us a tin of air and told us to leave the window open! We asked for different rooms to be told they were full, he was very rude and unhelpful... Also in the conformation email they said they had a cot for the baby (my 10 month old granddaughter) which would be free.... But they had nothing for the baby to sleep in! They did offer a dirty old mattress for us to put on the floor which we refused. We had to go to the local shop and buy a travel cot which cost €30! We didn't unpack anything as we thought things would start to smell, we kept all the bags in the fusty smelling room... The next morning there was a lovely receptionist who said sorry about everything and we asked if we could change rooms! Which we did.... but never ever will we stop here again or recommend it to anyone!

Hotel in the suburbs of Antibes, so quite far from the city centre, actually it is near the motorway and a big supermarket. Staff speaks english but it's not friendly, I asked twice for a hairdryer and it was always unavailable. Rooms are tiny and not clean, bathroom was tiny too... during the night we heard the noise of the car so it was quite difficult to sleep.

The staff were very friendly, and the nautical theme was cute, but frankly the filth of this hotel was inexcuseable. When we entered our room, there was a wretched stench -- not only had the bathroom not been cleaned, but the toilet, filled with excrement, had not been flushed. The sheets also appeared to be unwashed, and our room was infested with ants. We tried asking for a new room, but none were available. The hotel staff did offer us fresh towels and sheets out of the linen closet, but that was apparently all they could do. Friends staying in another room in the hotel encountered similar problems - dirty sheets, filthy bathrooms, and bugs. If you value basic cleanliness do not stay here.

Shabby, poor and basic.
It is in a rough area and almost impossible to find, when we did find it we wished we hadn't.

We booked 3 nights on the strength of the webiste photos, all I can say is congratulations to the photographer but in future i'l be using a microscope and asking how many years ago they were taken.

When we arrived it was late at night, there was nobody on reception just children running up and down the dark dingey corridor. We did eventually manage to attract the attention of the male receptionist/manager and were given our keys. On the way to our room we could't help but notice one of the guests had left his door wide open and was lying on his bed wearing very little. (seedy springs to mind)
Our room was small, dark, dingey and dirty with the smallest wardrobe you could imagine (more like a broom cupboard).
The bathroom was a joke, the shower was run via the sink taps, I guess somebody must have got very frustrated in there due to the big holes punched in the door.
Thankfully the sheets were clean, it was so late we resigned ourselves to the fact we would have to stay the first night.
As we hadn't eaten and all the restaurants were closed we decided a packet of crisps was the best option, the receptionist/manager must have had the same idea because he had a big bag of crisps he very kindly gave us a handful. Nice thought, shame about the hands.
Next morning 9am someone came barging into the room without knocking, although they were very apologetic we were out of there as fast as we could.

To be fair it was the only hotel near Antibes with any vacancy in the week of the Cannes film festival & the upcoming Grand Prix....alarm bells should be ringing...it was by far the most depressing place i have ever stayed in. Not only is the hotel impossible to find but the rooms are a disgrace. The bed was smashed up & was held together by pieces of string, the curtains were falling off the rail, the covers had cigarette burns & don't even get me started on the shower/toilet/sink room which had cultivated its own microclimate.
Don't stay here if you have any choice whatsoever.

We spent one night there and that was one night too many! The place was really dirty and looks nothing like the pictures on hotels.com. From the outside it looks like some seedy motel, right next to a motorway. It is ages away from the beach. The room was tiny, with no plugs, the shower was broken and the bathroom was dirty and dingy. The bed was lopsided so you slept with your head below your feet, it was noisy with all the traffic. The breakfast was pitiful for 10 euros. It was only half way through breakfast and we had to ask for things to be replenished. There was not enough food (croissants, etc) and the coffee was cold. The staff just dont care. I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!!!
