I have been to Antibes many times with my family (younger kids). Now here with a girlfriend and we decided to embibe. We shared one of green absinthe (it was early and not crowded - only two others in theri so she didn't seem to mind - (E6/glass) and it was very interesting to learn how to let the ice water drip through the sugar to dilute the absinthe. Very cool. The server didn't speak English well but did her best telling us the history. Did you know they used to put absinthe in wine and beer? Who knew?
