We stopped here as part of a wine tour. Guy had arranged a very good tasting, explaining the differences between the traditional method of making Chateauneuf-de-Pape vs. the more modern method. The cave is a 13th century wine tunnel used by the Popes and is beautiful.

We visited Guy yesterday afternoon. The atmosphere in the "cave" is truly remarkable-it is lit mainly by candles and there is Gregorian chant playing softly in the background. We tasted eight wines and were given lots of detail about each one; how it is made and stored, how it will develop as it ages, what to look for. As another reviewer has noted, Guy is extremely knowledgeable but is able to share both his knowledge and his passion for wine with great charm but utterly without condescension. The visit was a remarkable experience in every way and I recommend it heartily to anyone coming this way. By the way, the wine shipping is a plus except it is not possible to my province.

We have chosen Guy Bremond wine cellar because of goods reviews and I must say that his reputation is absolutely well earned. What makes this wine tasting a remarkable experience is personality of Guy, who is very experienced, interesting and sociable person. An hour spent in the cellar went by incredibly fast, we really enjoyed the taste of rare selection of wines, coupled with impressive setting and climate of wine cellar. What is also worth mentioning is that owner is not trying at all to push you to buy anything, you dont feel any hidden agenda or selling techniques. The guy is so good at selling the experience and story telling that he makes spending money absolute pleasure, we left over 100 euro in the cellar and felt it was a good bargain :) / Goraco polecamy, ciekawe doswiadczenie.

Best wine buying experience by far to date. Wonderfully welcoming, exceptional knowledge, great wines on sale. Forget all the other shops in Chateauneuf, this is the one to go for tucked away at the top of the hill. Will return every year. Also ships to London if you can't make the journey.

If you're in Chateauneuf du Pape and you like wine, this place is a must. Regardless of your knowledge, Guy makes you feel right at home. All of the wine is great and shipping back to the States is very easy. Since our visit, we've ordered wine by e-mail - never a problem. A must go!!
