Beautiful location, comfortable room and bed, nice views. Broken pavement and potholes at entrance, poor quality restaurant and irregular service.

“Charming, relaxing, calm and sensational food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2012

In our holidays we passed Chateauneuf du Pape. unfortunately the very charming castel "Chateau des Fines Roches" was already booked out for the night, so we decided to do wine tasting and have dinner.
In the wine degustation we got very competent advice by the "Sommelier" and bought some very nice wine. After a coffee on the terrace with a beautiful overview over vineyards we stayed for dinner. The food was really excellent and got pressentet very nicely.
All in all it was a very nice, relaxing and peaceful stay there. Next time we'd love to stay overnight.

Unfortunately, we never stayed here but will be sure to next time! We did however, have a glass of wine on the terrace & take in the beautiful view as the sun went down! Pure bliss...

“Lovely restaurant, wonderful views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 5, 2012

If you're touring the Chateauneuf du Pape wine region and are looking for a place to eat lunch, you can't go wrong here. The food was very good, the prices very reasonable, and the views of the countryside can't be beat.

“Gorgeous views/uninspired cruise ship style food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2011

Located at the top of a hill overlooking the vineyards and views of Avignon in the distance, the place has a magical setting. Arrived at 8pm but were not served drinks or water/bread until 8:45 - 1 overwhelmed waiter and two incompetent bus-people. All items seemed to be prepared well in advanced and served cold and/or overcooked. Simply uninspiring. Wine list was good...high bill did not reflect the quality of the food or service. four people, one bottle of 130 euro wine @ 400 euros.
