Ideal place for peaceful break, away from city rush. Very close to Mont Ventoux, a famous spot for bicycle riders. The historical castle surrounded by its enormous parks creates an atmosphere of a fairy tale. During the day time i was lucky to enjoy all the castle and swimming pool alone, which made me feel like a princess for a while)))
Special thanks to Livina, who was extremely kind and helpful, always booked for us the best restaurants for dinner and upgraded us from historical room in the castle (which was already very big and beautiful) - to a modern loft with new renovation, kitchen and big terrace!
The wine tour with Livina with dégustations at local vineyards was a great experience and chance to feel the taste of this region, famous for its wines.
Many thanks for all and good luck!

The magnificent gate that led through a majestic driveway up to the chateau was breathtaking. The room was large and decorated in blue and white. A large beautiful bed, comfortable bed also in blue and white occupied the room. French windows with an outlook onto the country side made the room very light and bright. The bathroom and separate toilet were also large. The bath was free standing. A mirror over a fireplace was in the bedroom and bathroom. Antiques were arranged beautifully everywhere. The breakfast room had a painted ceiling with dressers and architraves in matching hand carved wood. Food in the refrigerator was available and also tea and coffee facilities during the day. The chateau replaced an older one and was rebuilt in the 1850’s. Thank you Livina for your warm welcome.

This is a nice place to stay if you want to climb the Mont Ventoux and prefer a bit more luxory than the standard cyclist tourist hotels around the mountain. The chatoux is beautiful, charming and spacious. The owners are Dutch. Languages are not a problem and everything is well organised. We were welcomed with great hospitality.

Beautiful castle, the room and the bathroom we stayed in was big and decorated in classic French style (perfect match to the castle). One of the absolutely most stunning places we have stayed in. Nice big pool and since there are only a few rooms it is very calm. Great breakfast and personal service.

We have stayed at numerous chateau hotels and B&Bs, in fact seven in France on this 3 week trip, and Chateau du Martinet was perfect for us.

A warm welcome and friendly assistance with restaurant recommendations from our gracious host, Oliver. This is a B&B, and both the bed and breakfast were A+ quality with large, tasteful period-decorated rooms with AC, huge bathrooms and generous quality breakfast with local cheeses, meats and excellent baked goods.

The Chateau offers guest beautiful common rooms and grounds with a lovely pool area. It is proximate to Avignon, Chateauneuf du Pape, Gigondas and the Ventoux wineries. We stayed at Relais Chateaux properties and one managed by George Blanc this trip and my wife and daughters just loved and quite frankly preferred the elegance and calm of Chateau du Martinet.
