There are a lot of restaurants in Place de'Horloge. Because it is very touristy place, thre is no good value for the money. Your would have better value and more cultural experience in numerous restaurants located in small streets near this place.

Avignon's main square. Attractive nineteenth century buildings and plenty of restaurants with outdoor seating. A pleasant place for lunch.

I've lived in Dublin for 20 years and this reminds me of Temple Bar - except worse. This is full of tacky restaurants. Go to the pedestrianised area around Rue de Vieux Sextier - just a few minutes walk away - beautiful area.

Lovely square with a good selection of brasseries. Buy a beer and watch the world go by. The price of the beer pales into insignificance as the world unfolds before your eyes.

Great spot to stop for a drink or snack (food in patio cafes is of moderate quality, ok if hungry) - interesting rest stop to watch tourists and locals go by.
