Arriving in Avignon in the late evening the apartment was a little hard to find. This was because the sign for the very newly renovated apartments had yet to arrive!! After a little confusion we were warmly welcomed by Sabine and Patrick who quickly made us feel right at home.
The apartment was spacious and tastefully decorated with its own small balcony including a table and chairs overlooking the central courtyard.A perfect spot for a cool glass of local wine after a hard day's sightseeing. The apartment contained everything we needed and was centrally located within easy walking distance of all the major attractions.Sabine provided us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants.Unfortunately our relatively short stay meant we could not sample them all.Still , it gives us a good excuse to return to Avignon , and we certainly would again choose to stay with Sabine and Patrick.

Patrick and Sabine were absolutely warm and gracious!!! So helpful in helping us choose from a restaurant to our daily adventures of things to do and see in and around Avignon!!!

They have just finished a total remodel of what used to be an Abbey, the church is still just steps away with a beautiful bell tower! The hotel faces a town square with wonderful outside cafes, flower market once a week, plus other activities and shuttle buses that will take you to a free car park just outside the city walls. The room was gorgeous and spacious with a very comfortable bed, flat screen TV, very nice kitchenette plus free wifi! The bathroom was also roomy and elegant!

We will be recommending Aux Augustins to all of our friends!!! Our stay was perfect in every way!

Thank you Patrick and Sabine for the memories!

Room Tip: Our room was on the main level, just off the courtyard ... each has a little table with a pair of ch...

We were the first guests at Aux Augustins on th 4th of june 2013 for a week. What a great place to stay, rooms were very well appointed and we had a sunny courtyard to sit in for drinks and nibbles.Well situated with a supermarket close and restaurants at the door. The daily fresh food market is 5 minutes away.Sabine and Patrick were excellent hosts and very helpful with advise on any topic we sought help on, day trips, tours, location of services we needed etc. Great base for day trips to the area. les Beaux and Orange were amazing to see. We did a lunch river cruise which was excellent, great food and good value for money. . WILL BE BACK IN TWO YEARS FOR A WEDDING ANNIVERSARY.

This former monastery building newly converted into superb appartments provided the ideal base for our week in Provence. Excellent location close to supermarket, restaurants and shops and perhaps five minutes walk from the wonderful market which daily provided our fruit, vegetable, fish and everything else we needed. Pretty courtyard, friendly and helpful hosts - all-in-all a memorable holiday. We would not think of staying anywhere else should we return to Avignon.

This was our first trip to Europe and we are extremely please with our decision to stay at AUX Agustins. The room was new, fresh and tastefully appointed, our hosts Patrick and Sabine were extremely friendly and accommodating.

We found the Hotel and rooms to be very secure and safe with a beautiful court yard where we enjoyed cheese and wine on a few occasions when we felt like eating in. The garden and beautiful potted fruit trees in the courtyard combined with clever lighting to create a wonderful ambiance.

I can not praise the Patrick & Sabine enough they assisted us to plan each day we were at
Avignon and were very helpful.

Great location, Service and rooms - we can definitely recommend AUX AGUSTINS

We can highly recommend Aux Augustins. Sabine & Patrick were very pleasant and helpful but not at all intrusive. Our room was very pretty and spotlessly clean. It had a lovely stone floor. The bed was firm. The neat little kitchen, disguised as a wardrobe, had everything we needed. The shower room was immaculate. There is a lovely courtyard to sit in. The owners have been restoring Aux Augustins and in fact the finishing touches were still being applied while we were there. They have a done a great job. The location is within the walled area of the beautiful city of Avignon, so it was perfect for us. There are several nice restaurants across the road in a square. Could not have been better.

Sabine and Patrick are excellent hosts with a safe, clean, new building downtown Avignon. We highly recommend you stay at Aux Augustins. The kitchen in each room makes for a more pleasurable stay. Courtyard can be a bit noisy but nothing unusual. Their location in Avignon is perfect for catching the shuttle bus and provided easy access to grocery stores and a variety of shops. You are minutes from all the sights.

Room Tip: 2d floor room are less noisy
