Premiere Classe Avignon - Courtine

Perfect for this value. Good choice for a couple nights stay especially when you travel by car (and have GPS navigation). You get a room with WC and shover in it. Although it is really very small and designed for very slim and tiny people. The room was clean and fresh.
There is something wrong with a heating system. Moreover, the doors and windows pass wind. So try to find out how the heating system works in advance or ask for additional blanket.
This hotel has own secure parking.
I wouldn't advise to take the breakfast in the hotel. It looks quite poor. There are several cafes, bakery and a shop around, so you'll definitely find where to have breakfast.

First, be patient when trying to find this hotel. It is well tucked away behind the huge Carrefour market, some petrol station and car wash installations, industry warehouses and… well grown grass. The way there is not indicated, therefore you have to look around, use your maps and senses until sooner or later you’ve reached the bonsai hotel. Actually, what they sell as “Premiere Classe” turns out to be called “Bonsai” on the spot. Or maybe it is just both at the same time?
Anyway, in case you doubt, try to avoid asking the receptionist! When you approach her and ask anything, she will stare at you with dismay, making you feel a bore with your stupid questions and soon you’ll realize how deadly bored she is there - alone, with no friends, hooks and thrills, working in that forgotten corner at the end of the world.
The hotel itself is merely basic. Actually, all is very basic, simple and… plastic. One good thing is that there is a separate corner with the washbasin, and a separate one with WC and shower, even though its size just suitable for an anorectic child. If you have noisy neighbours, forget taking a pleasant night sleep. The loudly clapping doors and plastic interior will carry on to every single noise made on the premises.
If you’re not by car there, you still have a chance to get out of these far suburbs and reach the city of Avignon itself. Just take bus no. 10 (from the stop in front of Carrefour) and get off at the Gare Avignon stop (mind, it is not Gare TGV!!!). The “Gare Avignon TGV” is located in the opposite direction (some 15 min. by foot from the hotel or 1 stop by bus no. 14).
To sum up, a very basic hotel. However, if you pay some 33 euro per night, you know what to expect, don’t you?

Found this based on price and city. We had a car with GPS so found it very easily. Would be difficult otherwise since out of the way. Wouldn't be good for several days or travelers without transportation wanting to spend time in the old city. Couldn't find our reservation since we booked with AmEx card, but honored it since we had a copy on our iPhone. When we arrived, no one was in the office and a sign with a phone number was there. This was during regular hours, not evening. We didn't have a phone! Luckily another employee came along who called the manager who then came to assist. Room had all that was needed. Small, but clean and well equipped. Good value for what we needed.

Hotel near TGV station (we needed to walk there after putting car on autotrain.) No-one available at first and a group of people in front of us found the automatic book in was not working. Receptionist eventually arrived - polite and courteous. First room given had a broken toilet seat. We then transferred to another room. The place outside looked like a building site and some repair work was taking place. 2 bedrooms were accessed through an entrance porch door without lighting in the porch area. Room extremely small with minimal bathroom space. It reminded us of a poorly built lego. Bed comfortable but I was cold with one sheet and thin bedcover as only bedlinen. Breakfast tasteless and poor - only the coffee was good.
As it was cheap (£40.24) for bed and breakfast I suppose we can't moan!

Room Tip: Go to another hotel!

We were here after 8 long hours of drive. Our previous stay at Premier classes warned us to get room with bigger bathroom. Which they agreed to do. But those rooms were literally like a garage converted to a bedroom. Room were not clean. Bedding felt like dirty. I was trying to touch minimally as feels like u might catch some infection. On top of that the day we reached they didn't have hot water, and they told us to take shower in the evenings only.
I would never suggest anybody to take these Premier classes hotels anywhere, this will certainly ruin ur trip.

Room Tip: Never get these class of hotel.

If you are travelling by car this is a pretty good place for a single night in Avignon. Plenty of parking space, clean and quiet.
This is definetely no thrills but if you plan on spending your day and evening in Avignon and only need a place to sleep you will get good value for your money here. No ugly surprises, professional staff and close to shopping.
