Leading from the central staion to the heart of the town, this is quite a busy road but houses the Tourist Information Centre (very helpful), some good bars and cafes, a very pretty little park with a nice cafe and the Archaeology Museum which is very small but has some nice pieces (and is entirely wheelchair accessible).
This is the standard main business thoroughfare found in many mid and large size French cities. Cute shops, high prices, and nothing unique. If you've got time to kill, go find a museum.....

This street cuts right through the center of the old district of Avignon There are some hotels, many dining options, some with outdoor seating, numerous shops and stores and the tourist office. It is popular and sometimes gets crowded Many of the streets of the old town lead into Rue de la Republque making it a convienent location Other than that, there is nothing really special about it.
