My first advice is to get the address right, as this restaurant is NOT on the main "rue de la Republique" but on a smaller street, rue Petramal, not very far from Les Halles.
I live nearby and go frequently for supper and can only reproach my own "gourmandise" because I never stop eating soon enough. The sushi is always perfect, always amazing me at how they can have such fresh ingredients, perfectly presented. In addition to the classic choices of sushi and sashimi, there are some more modern and original variations, such as maki with foei gras.
This is a convivial sushi restaurant where one can appreciate a serious approach to their specialties, prepared with real expertise. Add to that the personal welcome of the owner and one is well-motivated to make reservations ahead of time. Finally, for the quality and pleasure of this eating experience, prices are well-justified.
