“Just Perfect”

My wife and I had no reservation in Avignon and the Office de Tourisma presented the Maison Boussingault B&B, thank God. It's a contempory designed B&B on a quite street inside the walls - perfectly located to all the sights inside the city. Ann is a gem! she speaks perfect English and is extremely helpful. Definately will return!

Room Tip: Don't over look the Department de Tourisma in the cities. they are a big help.

We stayed for one night only, but the hostess was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and maps. Breakfast in the morning was lovely in the sun on the terrace. The rooms were clean and had a nice minimalist decor with nice new bathrooms.

My husband and I made a last minute decision to return to Avignon on the last portion of our trip. We went to the Tourism Office and they suggested this little gem called Maison Boussingault. When we arrived at the B&B, we were warmly greeted by Ann and she showed us to our room. It was exactly what we needed to end our vacation. The room was comfortable and quiet with a nice sized tub and shower and the bed was very comfortable. Ann offered to recommend local restaurants and to book reservations for us without even being asked. She was so helpful and her English was very good. The breakfast was delicious as well. We liked the location as it was just a short walk to great shopping and the Popes Palace. I will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I were looking to stay in a Bed and Breakfast while in Avignon and we needed something near the city center because we didn't have a car. This place was perfect. It was within walking distance from the train station as well as the city center. The hostess was very friendly and most accommodating. The room was lovely, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast on the balcony was most memorable. I would highly recommend this location.

We absolutely loved our stay at Boussingault. It was honestly one of the best places we stayed during our honeymoon. Anne was lovely and nothing was too much trouble.
The French breakfast was very tasty, homely and imaginative. The rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. But best of all was the location. The B&B could not be in a better position to explore the beautiful town of Avignon. Just 1-2 minutes’ walk to the tourist office (although Anne was probably more helpful than them anyway), 3-7 minutes to the main train station and 5-10 minutes casual walk up the main shopping strip to the town centre.
We look forward to staying here again when we have to remind Anne who we are just to get a bed! Great job Anne, Good Luck.

Room Tip: All rooms look good, but Anne will fix you up with whichever one suits your needs.

This property is everything it says on the web site and more. The rooms are clean, spacious and modern with lovely bathrooms and we all got a good nights sleep on the comfortable beds.

The owner, Anne is very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Breakfast is outside in the sun and is a delicious mixture of fresh bread, croissants, homemade jams and cakes washed down with freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee or tea. In the evening you can relax outside in the courtyard chatting to friends or planning your events for the next day whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity of this central, but private property.

We will definitely be back!

We spent 6 nights and enjoyed every single moment. Maison Boussingault B&B was an excellent place to relax after exploring the the surroundings of Avignon and other villages of Provence.

The rooms are light and stylish and the beautiful downstairs courtyard is a great place to sit down and enjoy the calmness of the area. Just being a couple minute walk away from the main street of Avignon its easy to explore the city.

Anne was a warm and kind host. She gave us several tips of lovely restaurants and places to visit.
Enjoying a tasty French breakfast including homemade jams, cakes, croissants, nature yoghurt, fresh fruits and a cup of coffee/ tea/ fresh juice on the sunny upstair terrace is a great way to start the day.

I would definately stay here again.
