I only ate 5 restaurants while I was in Avignon (my poor waistline!) but I think this was my favourite. I am really surprised that this place isn't higher than 30th place.
I loved the setting which is in effect the side of the church. It look like a little courtyard with a couple of houses bordering it and small cobbled roads on both sides.
I had the steak tartare which was absolutely great. It was chopped rather than minced steak with frites and salad leaves. Bien!
The place is great for lunch as it is in the shade.
