“You have to see it, but not all that exciting”
Reviewed July 4, 2013 via mobile

It is interesting, it is worth seeing, but it is not something amazing and spectacular. Make sure to see the bridge.

“Grand spaces”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

This was not as elegant as I anticipated. However, it's a huge place - the sheer scale of it is impressive. My favorite rooms were the pope's bedroom and the high kitchen with its massive chimney.

“Get the audio guide. Very good”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

Worth seeing. Get the ticket that includes the bridge too. Avoid the tour bus loads. Get there at 9 am.

“excellent”

Give yourself a full morning or afternoon, well worth the visit. Get the audio tour, I didn't and wished I had, there is so much history to learn as you tour the Palace.

“It is a Must-see in Avignon!”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

The building was breath-talking enough before entering it. I paid 15 Euro for the entrance of the Palace + Bridge and did not pay for the audioguide. I think it is worthwhile for a heritage site. Though the exhibition was in French, there are English, Spanish and German translation printed in some foamboards. Video offered also has French and English subtitles. Therefore it is not difficult to understand what they are talking about. The site is large and full of historical and religious aura. It is definitely a must-see!
