In a way we feel sorry for the people running this hotel because would seem they are struggling to survive.. The staff are friendly.. The rooms very cell like small and the whole place needs refurbrishment.. Ample car parking and a good breakfast.. It's a shame with some investment this could be a very nice hotel.. We stayed one night would not. Stay again or recommend to friends. We are out in Avignon lots of eating places to choose from we chose third place left hand side of the main square reasonable food very good.. Huge car park just outside city if your staying on the edge of Avignon..

...although I must admit I've never been, so this comment is based on what I've seen in films. The cell had three beds, which included a bunk bed, with barely enough room to move. If you wanted a bottle of water, bad luck, there isn't any, and the dispensing machine didn't work. Damp smell in bathroom, shower connections falling out of the wall. In the middle of nowhere. We stayed here on the way from Dunkirk to Marseille as it was the cheapest place to sleep, even our 7 hours were enough. I suppose at least you don't have do pay to stay in jail (except with your liberty of course).

I arrived here, after driving round in circles, finally found it. On the road its on about half way down there is a little tiny exit, and it's down there. Not very well sign posted.
The member of staff spoke very good English mixed with my Franglais they were very understanding people.
The hotel room was nice with air conditioning and very clean. The bathroom was nice and clean. The toilet however was broken. The seat was wonky and the button on the top was broken, however it did still work with some fiddling.
I only stayed here a night, but it was a nice night and I did sleep like a log.

We arrived by train, expecting a short easy walk to the hotel. We were persuaded to get a cab, no one seemed to have heard of this hotel. With hindsight, we now realise we were taken a very circuitous route, We were horrified to find the hotel in an industrial estate with non existent gardens, non English speaking staff and a room big enough for a bed with a dubious looking bedspread on it. When using the air con remote, the TV came on as well.
We stayed for 4 days and left after the mediocre b'fast each day to catch a bus into Avignon.
There was no staff visible when we tried to exit before 7.30am for the train back to Paris and the door took us 5 mins to operate.
Maybe if you had your own car and wanted cheap accomodation, this would fit the bill but the location was awful and there were no eateries or shops within walking distance. Never again.
