The Opera Café is one of many in the Place de l'Horloge; we were attracted to it as it was busy and the wait staff kept up a good pace between tables. A simple snack of beer and an extensive cheese platter hit the spot. We are not talking about a memorable gourmet experience, just a convenient stop on our walk around Avignon where we could draw breath and have our needs met by attentive staff. Reasonably priced.

We just stopped for a drink and a snack before dinner. The waiters were polite, the food was good and they have wifi.

There are similar restaurants on the opposite side of the carousel. We had 3 course menu for lunch. Fish soup, beef carpaccio and liver were very delicious. Tramisu and wine were really perfect. The waiter was spleenless but also forgetful.

Very bad service. The waiter even yell at me when I asked about the delay. The food was okay even tasty but the atmosphere bad.

Nice spot in Place d'Horloge. Had a light lunch, nice assiette de charcuterie, while my wife had smoked salmon. Sunny spot, with plenty going on. Good service.
